Chocolate Rum Cake - Celebrating 2017 With Simple Cooking With Eric.
Chocolate Rum Cake is a Lovely variation of Chocolate Cake. Lovely for the Holidays and any time you want a new kind of Chocolate Cake.
In Celebration of the start of the Simple Cooking With Eric KZread Channel, here is a Republishing of an amazing Episode of Chef Eric Brown showing how simple cooking can be in the comfort of Home.
Dear Viewers,
This is the 6th Video I made for my Simple Cooking With Eric KZread Channel. I apologize for not Filming how this Cake looks when out of the Cake Pan, with perhaps an Icing.
I am learning to be mindful of the importance of Filming every step of how to make Dishes, from beginning to finish.
For example, when the Cake finishes Baking, allowing the Cake to cool and remove from the Cake Pan. Preparing the Icing for the Cake and applying the Icing on the Cake.
I was trying to get a few other things done around the time the Cake had finished baking. With everything else going on, the final phase of taking the Cake out of the Cake Pan was not Filmed. Again, please accept my Apology.
Regarding what was not filmed for this Video for Chocolate Rum Cake.
1. Let the Cake cool, inside the Pan, for about 1 hour.
2. When the Cake is slightly cool to touch, place a plate upside down on top of the cake, with the front of the plate facing the Cake. Firmly hold the Cake Pan and Plate, lift and quickly turn Cake Pan over. You should hear the Cake dislodge from the Cake Pan, onto the Plate. Now, the front of the Plate should be facing upward, with the Cake Pan sitting on top of the plate. Gently lift the Cake Pan. You should see the Cake sitting on the Plate.
3. In the event, the Cake is not on the plate, and has not completely dislodged from the Cake Pan, quickly press the Cake Pan down on the Cake, on the plate.
4. Hold the Plate and Cake Pan firmly, and turn both over. Lift up the Plate. With a knife, preferably a Butter Knife, gently push the knife down the sides of the Cake, between the Cake and the Cake Pan. Do this around the entire outside edge of the Cake, between the outside edge of the Cake and the Cake Pan. In the event you are using a Cake Pan with a circle in the center, for example, a Tube Pan; using the knife, repeat the steps for dislodging the Cake from the Cake Pan.
5. When it seems like the Cake is no longer sticking to the Cake Pan, place the Plate on top of the Cake and the Cake Pan. Firmly hold the Plate and the Cake Pan. Lift and turn over. Gently remove the Cake Pan.
