I’ve never really seen you do any “country” food or soul food. I’m from the south and is by far my favorite food. And that’s what I would LOVE to see on your channel. I’m talking collard greens, cornbread, chicken, cobbler, biscuits and gravy, grits, more greens lol, red beans and rice. My family is a mix between New Orleans and South Alabama and good down home country food is where it’s at! You’re my favorite food inspiration and I watch your videos all the time to expand our pallets in my home but seeing some soul food on your channel and how you would prepare it would be so awesome!

Im a pastry chef and there are definitely some batters you don’t want a mixer for, especially in smaller amounts like this.

Would love to see a Moussaka or Kibbeh Labanieh, two dishes from my childhood.

I like this way, which borderlines a mousse texture. Many restaurants prepare this and it’s so runny; basically undercooked and just raw batter falling out.

I’m a pastry chef and I can tell you those places cut corners by sticking truffles and other wrapped chocolate in the middle to get a runny chocolate so they don’t worry about over baking. It irks me. Some places even get their desserts premade by a good supply company, and don’t properly thaw and end up underbaking it.

This lava cake made me request any of my faves: carrot cake, tres leches, panna cota. Thanks!

@@paular9390 tamales are easy, I'd rather see his take on a molé or pipian. Some people make molé with like 20-30 different ingredients. Also everyone has their own recipe so it's always delicious but never really the same. Honestly I'm just curious if he's eaten it before and, since everyone I know makes it differently, I want to see if hed be willing to make it his own way.
