question: if you blitz/ blend the ingredients first in a blender and spread onto the cold plate, will it has the same perfect roll as when you chop the ingredients with heavy cream on the plate?

@Aishath Maaya Ayathulla lol what do you have answer for this? curious because before he or any rolled ice cream maker needs to spread the ice cream mixture(?), they should incorporate the ingredients together right? so what i'm questioning is if, theoretically speaking, i assume that one will get the rolled part; but less time consuming. unless there's another reason one has to chop the ingredients on the plate 🤷 (apart from getting the satisfaction out of chopping the ingredients ofc)

Never made a roll before but theoretically, yeah ur reasoning makes sense. But even with this method, they have to keep moving the mixture around to create the right consistency before spreading it and rolling it out. And at that point there’s just no reason to use a blender at all since you’ve basically saved no time. Better to just chop, mix, spread, and roll altogether which also means less dishes and it’s entertaining for the customers.

Definitely isn’t. Last place I went didn’t make rolled ice cream. The dude made ice cream glass shards. All the rolls just ended up flat and broken apart like glass shards, it was really funny to watch him try to explain that it was the weather, in an indoor shop.
