I do a TON of shopping for soap supplies online and eBates lets you get rebates at nearly every major online retailer, including Amazon, eBay, and Etsy. I literally save money just by opening up a tab in my browser via their link. I have already received a check from them within the first month so I just thought I would let you guys know about this since we soap makers and DIYers buy so much online! Plus, it's free! Yippee! :D

For Caleb’s question, my aunt had dancing at her funeral. No one knew it was going to happen, only her husband... they loved to go swing dancing, and she knew she was dying, so she asked her group to perform. We saw some strange people in back who came in quiet after family, it was a warmish day, but they all wore long coats and were very very made up. But we still didn’t twig. My aunt was not at all religious so we had no church service, just straight to the crematorium for a humanist service there (it’s a beautiful venue). Here in the U.K. we usually go in to one song playing, leave as another song plays and in the middle of the service they play another song in full. All songs chosen by the family. It was the song in the middle and my uncle walked to the head of the coffin and asked “may I have this dance pretty girl?” (His first words to her when they met) he then stood quietly by the head of the coffin (we don’t do open casket usually here) then the strange coat people whipped off their coats and danced down the aisle and even around my aunt & uncle. They wore such bright colours, it was beautiful to see and so joyous. Afterwards at the wake my uncle said he decided his final words should be the same as his first...

Have you thought about doing a sort of "black label" limited edition soap each month and just make one loaf of it to make the intricate fancy loads of additive designs we all crave? You could totally charge twice as much for it.

My husband sometimes makes soap from our leftover bacon fat, and once he put a ton of cocoa powder in one of the batches. It smelled amazing and also acted as a really gentle exfoliant. I saved it for special baths when I was really stressed out because it was just so wonderful!

You know, it might be worthwhile if you have some free time to go ahead and make some more complex soaps in limited runs- you could sell the bars at a higher price since they're so limited, and it would make it more worth your time to do videos that your youtube audience are interested in, which in turn would increase your income. I mean I'm not a business, man, but it just seems to make sense to me if you ever have the time. In any case, love your videos and hope you can find a good balance for fun and profit in the future!

Omg caleb is a crack up! Also, can you use the mica pigments in wax? I have wax coloring cubes but it always comes out pastel and i want more vibrant colors!

You should drizzle liquid mica between the layers of pipping! It would be cool to see how it turns out!

You could call it a cordial cheesecake soap. Also kinda fits with the royal theme!

Sometimes while watching your videos I forget that this is soap and it's not edible, so occasionally when you put salt on top I starting yelling at the screen, "Why are you putting salt on top of it?!"
