This is my favourite Christmas treat, we found it in a Company's Coming recipe book. But we always use semi sweet on the top. They're always the first to go at Christmas, so I'm forced to make two or three of them by the end of December!

Been making these for as long as I can remember and honestly they are the best thing I've ever tasted!! Being on a gluten dairy soya free diet due to allergies it's the one thing I miss the most. Definitely give this recipe a try. There's also a recipe by nigella that I use :)

I'm literally waiting for that Chocolate Lava cake I tried! But this looks delicious!

Wow it's look delicious.. Here, at my country.. I think we are just made it as choco jar.. Known as.. It's sell when crispy rice still melt and just like you did. But we put it in a jar and then we have to heat it first before eat.

I made these this afternoon but my consistency was a lot thicker than what yours appears to be... I followed the recipe but I don't know :/. Still tastes absolutely amazing though!! Can't wait to share it with everyone at work tomorrow ^_^ thank you!

Donal it was one of my first recipes I made at school and believe it I took home economics even though I was a jazz musician and an engineer! Unfortunately I'm now a civil servant but these were great when you're 10-11 walking back from school and everyone taking the Mickey then they realise you have something nice yep 5p a slice please ha ha ! Great vid!

I bet our UK milky way would be a good substitute for the Mars too, it's just the nougat without caramel really and I tend to prefer them. snickers would be great too.

Canada also has Mars! Yay!

This is amazing Donal brother but its another version of Indian recipe at the time of navratri and also made them at maha- shivratri time .,,with melted brown sugar made of sugarcane, we called that ''Gur'' which is produced by extracting juice from sugarcanes boiling sugarcane juice.

First I thought it was real rice. But thanks for that recipe

I make it just two hour ago , now when I taste it , it have so much butter , i feel if i put the half of the butter and replace the other half with table spoon of honey it will make it more tasty , what do you think ?💛🧡

The rice crispy's should balance out the sweetness. You could just not use that many of them.
