Yeah, apparently it's a song on the X (1999) ost.

Internet officially blowing up because Chii/Chi can be spelled either way. and people argue about it.

This theme sounds like a boss fight theme of a RPG game :D

It really sounds like "Moonlit Wilderness" from Tekken 5/Tekken Tag Tournament 2. I guess the Producers from Tekken took inspiration from "Dark Chii's Theme". That part (1:10) remind me really of the intro of "Moonlit Wilderness".

To get it straight her name was written as ちい which is Chii if you don't believe me copy the word and paste it in translate

If you understand Hiragana at all, you would also understand that the extra "i" sound would be an added kana. い is a singular "i" when translated into Romaji. Chi's name is comprised of the two Kana ち(ch) and い(i). Food for thought. The one that you would end up with if it were two "i", would be ちいい (lit. "Chii")

Such a pity this song is not originally from Chobits and there is no real voice-cleaned version. The original is from the anime X (from Clamp). It is one of the most epic songs in one of the most epic scenes of Chobits (but is played in several scenes). Thanks!

This is the soundtrack of anyone pursuing the one they love with a valiant life-or-death urgency. It's good that the speaking was removed. This track doesn't need some shady sounding dude whispering sweet nothings in Japanese, but it could definitely use Hideki's desperate cries of CHI! My mind tends to insert that into this song automatically when I hear it anyway.

Will anyone understand it's "Chi" not "Chii" If you love Chobits sooo much, why does noone put the time and effort to make a simple thing right? it's like saying caturday, your cats day to be loved and pet all time or something, or cat-on-your-day, the time when your watching or doing something great and your cat gets in the way like in front of the monitor, wants being pet, PUT THE EFFORT INTO IT IF YOU LOVE IT, IT'S NOT THAT HARD! i think i know why everyone tries to spell Chi as Chii is because of the movie, they spell Chi wrong. However in the books, it is spelled Chi, so.... that is the correct spelling. Chi was what the authors intended....

the most ironic part is that it wasn't even made for this anime, it's for X/1999 (I do actually like bits of this show, honestly, can't say I love it).
