I recently rewatched chobits, and now it is even more relevant, than it was when it freshly came out

I found this *decades* ago at this point and it's *STILL* included in my overall music collection because of the honor of having this one clean version of the song. Thanks for uploading it here, And I'm happy I stumbled across it entirely by accident again after all these years.

@OBHEADBOOMER Thanks. Yeah, there was some copyright problems. Both anime series "X Tv" and "Chobits" are made by CLAMP. They decided to go ahead an use one of "X Tv"'s songs since they had access to the music, being the same company and all. Except "X Tv" hadn't even used the song yet and the composer hadn't given permission for it to be used, thus it never got released. :( So instead I thought to go ahead and redo it. :)

Yeah I found that too. I made this because I was tired of looking for a full version without Hideki or the Kamui/Fuuma Dialogue remixes. :) I believe that first version was by "Zalas" who ripped the audio from the actual episodes (hence Hideki calling out to Chii), and mixed their own parts into the song (along with some guitars which I liked). I think it was just titled "Chobits Techno (Zalas Remix)" when I found it.

Thanks for the comment. :) I agree with you about the tempo. I think it sounds better at a faster speed for this song, but I just wanted to re-create the original theme, so I used the same tempo as the original Dark Chii theme used, which was 140bpm.

Dark souls fights have never been more intense. This works really well for some but it's best part is that it's perfect for "The Nameless King"

@Niloklives EDIT: I see what you mean now. I completely forgot I uploaded this version. I made two versions of this song, this one on the video now, and one which was basically a copy of the original, minus all the dialogue and such.

Only with the dialogue. "Kamui (Dialogue Mix)" and "Fuuma (Dialogue Mix)", but the Chobits fans have dubbed the instrumental version used in Chobits as "Dark Chii Theme", because back then it wasn't released and had no name.

@gamemaster634 Ah yeah, that sometimes happens. It streams from the site rather than downloading it. You can just wait for it to finish the song in Windows Media Player, then click "Save As" in the File tab to save the mp3. I can't remember the proper way to stop that streaming thing from happening.

It's just the most commonly given title to the song by fans, since the actual song has no real title. (It was a song mistakenly taken from the "X TV" anime)

Now I'm imagining battle with Freya as the last boss fight. Hideki VS Freya. But whenever he damages Freya, he damages Chii too. So, he has only two options: keep atacking 'til Freya is defeated; try to convince her with power of speech while not taking any damage, which will be much more difficult and longer (cause she will be probably one of those "oneshot OP pls nerf" bosses.

Hideki fights and defeats Freya but damages Chii's body too much, Chii with her last shred of power says goodbye to Hideki for the last time and turns off in his arms while Hideki is crying. Few days later while Hideki was lying on the floor in his room depressed Ms. Hibiya brings a formatted Freya to Hideki and a new story begins.

Mr Brightside I was going for that tragic heartbreaking ending where the MC has no choice but to sacrifice his love in order to save the world. And a formatted Freya has no difference in appearance or in personality from Chii when she is first activated allowing the MC to have a fresh new start from his tragic point in his life.

Wellll it had something like this..since freya loved her father in a man and women sorta way,she knows its a forbidden love and that the father is already married and ect. She couldn't stand the a pain and overloaded(sorta like shut down) then she was awaken but the other scientist think that she is too dangerous.. so she was shut down forever.. but chii loves her sister so she offered freya to be inside chii :3

yeah the remix is awesome, and the original song as well right? I totally agree!! it sounds like the perfect song for a final boss... "Unleashed Freya" sounds really awesome to me 0.0 but I wouldnt like to hurt her...

Just a side note; I tweaked the file a bit to make the tempo a bit closer to how it was in the anime. The pitch is unaffected. If you like, I can make it available for download. If not, np. Again: awesome job.

I'm not quite sure. I'm checking the link now, but it seems to work fine for me here. Could it be something to do with your browser preventing popup ads or anything? It seems to pop up in a new window when I use the site if that's the problem.

Unfortunately not. I used to have the Kamui collection, but lost it a while back. I do still have the 2 single "Kamui/Fuuma -Dialogue Mix-" songs downloaded though.
