Holdy Shorts That’s very accurate about Lucifer, after all that’s one of the things he did as God’s top Angel before falling, however Chloe is and was not the only moral to see Lucifer for who he truly is, and Amenadiel is correct, Chloe is not the gift, the Son is.

i watched it today

People were mad saying God set this all up and she didn’t have a choice but Amenadiel says it all. She wasn’t a gift made just to love Lucifer. She was given the gift to not be influenced by him so she could have the true choice to fall in love with him and make him a better man. He also had the choice to love Chloe and become a better man, earn forgives and finally move forward. I think it’s beautiful.

And to add onto that, Lucifer also had the characteristics of God also being that he is his son too. So basically God had the gift of reflecting your desires back onto you and Lucifer didn’t wanna just be God, he had to learn that he desired to be like his father but fell for his own devil counterpart (pride) thinking he could do a better job and listened to the voice telling him that he wasn’t already made in Gods likeness just like how Adam did. That is so crazy that I never noticed that before

Only caused lucifer one problem afterward, which is freezing time just as lucifer was boutta confess, and gave Chloe the.misunderstanding that lucifer ran away, and he was mad at her, not his dad

To summarize, Chloe was not a gift, she was given a gift

Imagine being with someone who has, legitimately, been abusive and controlling and manipulative in every relationship they have ever been…except yours. Everyone they ever spurned is telling you that you’re just one in the long line of victims to the point you believe them…I mean, why wouldn’t you, right? Then you find out that he never did that to you. You were his/her soulmate and they never tried to do anything untoward to you. Still, you hurt them like others allowed themselves to be hurt by this person. Imagine the realization. Now, even crazier, imagine that all of that ‘abuse’ wasn’t from an abusive person but a mischievous person who was with people that simply blew up all the situations out of proportion because the attraction between them was so intense that everything was distorted. No gaslighting, simply forgot. Wasn’t manipulative, just late sometimes or forgetful. A genuinely decent person, but their lover at the time wanted a fairytale prince and saw anything less as a monster. We all agree that Lucifer wasn’t a great person in the show. Still, Lucifer rarely did anything ‘evil’. He had a raw magnetism. It tarnished his name more than his actions ever could. Maybe that’s just me.

@@secretagenttau2233 that’s what the op is saying. People judged him based on their expectations of what they thought he was, not who he actually is. So when he failed to meet those expectations however minutely they were overly offended because of how strong their attraction was to him. Whereas Lucifer, didn’t expect much of his partners other than to keep their end of the bargain they made with him, and pursue their desires.

Netflix/the writers did such an incredible job taking over this show. Its as if they'd planned 6 seasons from the start 😊

Lucifer had the best ending ever. (Spoiler)¥ The fact that time in hell lasts much longer was always weird to me. (1 second on earth=10 years in hell) So I always wondered why God made it that way. Was it to bore him? Give him time to think? Make the tortured souls feel more torture? And this was answered beautifully from the last two seasons. When God left with the Godess, Lucifer asked God if all this was his plan, and God just smirks. And the twist at the very end of the show makes it all come together. Time moves slowly because Lucifer’s job was to save the damned souls. He always meant for Lucifer to be a guarding angel. The Lightbringer. Gods ((retirement)) plan ;) I love it.

I fuckin love this show, it’s like the only cw show besides Superman and Lois that never had a bad season, there were always great moments.

We don't need a God to tell us to respect other human beings especially women. And chivalry isn't useful either. We are all equal, we should respect each other, men and women, and not need something to tells us how to behave around half of the population. Just grow up and act with other people like you would like them to act with you, be kind and respectful. It's not that hard.

God knew Lucifer needed someone and knew the right time to make her, so he created her for him, so in his creation of her he made her specifically immune to his power because no one else on earth, ever, had been immune to his charms so god made one that would be so that she could truly see him for him like no one else could and Lucifer would have a chance to have a mate, a partner. Some people don't understand that it was her & Lucifers choice to walk through....God only offered them the door

She was put in his path, to bring him back into the fold. To curve him into self improvement. The romantic relationship is just a bonus. Think about it, if Chloe was destined to be with Lucifer romantically. God could have made that way easier. She wouldn't have come to marry Dan first. There'd be no Trixie. Lucifer met Chloe when she was still married and she was still giving it a chance. I think god could have made for more favourable conditions. If the desired outcome was romance. The thing that attracts Lucifer to Chloe originally. Is that she punishes the guilty, like he does and she's immune to his powers

Because they need power to overcome their weaknesses. They get that but instead of appreciating what they were given they became unemotional and greedy. So they are drown to him because his hell is better place than the darkness of the real devil … I guess he knows that people choices are sometimes not theirs so they get more lucky .

What gets me about this is Lucifer was so angry at his father for so long, but in the end God put this woman in his path who was immune to his ability so that she could see him and love him for who he really was. In his own way, God knew Lucifer was worthy of love, he just needed his son to find out on his own terms.

I need to watch this season but it’s so hard to find on dvd in the UK. Every time I think I found it, turns out to be an American copy. I have 1-4 and 6 so I’m flabbergasted at how 5 doesn’t seem to exist 😂

These people have never encountered Lucifer… this show is a lie, all the way. People watch it and it’s interesting even understandable..mostly. This has nothing to do with What Lucifer is. There is no talk with it.
