I’ve been saying this lol. It really be your own people. Is Chloe cringy sometimes? Of course but she doesn’t deserve all the bad press she gets. 5H were cringy as hell when they came out but they’re were selling the hell out of their music. Now them white folks would eat up Chloe’s music if she made more pop sounding music and collabed with pop artists cause that seems to be what Lizzi is doing and look where she is

I couldn’t disagree more with what you said about Miley Cyrus. She did a very poor job of shedding her youthful image, so much so that it became a source of ridicule and parody. Sure, The bangerz era put up numbers but it destroyed her credibility and made her the poster child of cultural appropriation. After Bangerz everybody wrote Miley off. It took almost a DECADE for the music industry to take her seriously as a heavy hitter again. Somebody who effortlessly transitioned was Justin Timberlake. From Disney to Nsync to Solo. Every transition was frictionless and his authenticity was rarely questioned.

I can see your points and can even agree with them, miley is a hardcase to crack since shes a women, and girl child stars are more under watch when they try to transition
Sales absolutely matter and it dictates your longevity in the industry. Chloe is not secure within herself which reflects in her music. The topic of her sexuality would not be a topic of the music was good. The music is not good which is why she has to resort to nakedness to draw affection. Chloe is technically a new artist, the music should be the focal point. Period. Not her sucking a lollipop on IG, not her doing a Buss it challenge, or having a sex scene in a straight to DVD movie, it should be the 🎶 🎵.
