The trailer picks up 20 years after the events of Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, which saw Malric and the Mason Order fighting to conquer the lands held by the Agatha Knights. King Malric has ruled since with an iron fist… but rumors arise of a new leader who seeks to reclaim the throne.

So far it's doing good, lots of players. Also lots of content in the update timeline. Even if player count does go down, a steam release would revive it completely. Chiv 1 was a steam classic.
I gotta hand it to them, the one thing Chivalry does well is its lore. I hope the mechanics are good enough, Mordhau has certainly raised-the-bar in this area.

I think it will be. Mirage fixed practically all the problems chivs system had, while keeping the skill ceiling high. I know they are carrying that over to Chiv 2.

In Chivalry 1, it was alluded to the Masons might not be the most stand up guys, but that they had reason to exist, given how Agatha was being run. I'm a little disappointed some of that nuance is gone, but still very excited to take up arms again. I loved Chiv and Mirage, and am ready for some more action.

@@lordogordo9407 It's what was meant to happen. Malric's men are killers, not noble princes. What did you expect was going to happen when people who only know how to fight come to power? They are still arguably a better choice in the long term, Malric done uprooted the old-time nobility, meaning that Agatha might be well on its way to end feudalism in a few generations.

@@BIGESTbladeMalric men are no knights. Masons knights are just heavy infantry. They are men borned pesants which Malric offered them a chance, stay in the dirt for the nobles or replace them. Yeah I know who i would side with. FOR MALRIC!!

Imagine a standalone openworld, singleplayer game or a DLC for Chivalry 2 in this universe.

Lucky for you the mentor in the tutorial is named Tom Banner, just like the one from killing floor. He doesn't really look like Tom, though. Maybe he's just older now.

Mordhau is dying and you know it. This is another ship that has the possibility to sink, but hasn't begun to yet. Mordhau is already sinking from neglect and sloooow content updates.

@@илья_стекломоев мне кажется у них с того что Антиматеры ушли, у Трипваеров сгорело и они вообще ниче не делают из принципа. ГОМ до сих пор в воркшопе лежит, ждет гринлайта от разрабов уже много месяцев. Трипваеры чисто даже не помнят что у них эта игра есть
