Love seeing the old 1130 working. Grew up farming with Massey’s in East Tennessee in the early 80s. Thanks for the video.

Those years of the masseys in my opinion are the best farm tractors ever built and best looking 👍

Love the old Massey 1100 and 1130. Great tractors. The 1130 we had worked best between 1700 - 2000 rpm. Lots of torque in that rpm range. I always preferred running the 1130 over running the JD 4020. The Massey was quieter, smoother, had better hydraulics, better operator station layout, better seat, and used less fuel.

Had a 1130 pyro miter would get 900+ degrees pulling massey hydraulic reset 6 bottom plow Had to let her set for a bit in barn lot till she got down to 600.... great tractor

Looks like she handled 13 shanks pretty well! My cousin has a 9 that I’m hoping my 1100 will pull without too much trouble

Put it on pasture ground and get a different result. I dropped a chisel plow in 15 year pasture ground and with duel tires it stood straight up within 8 feet.

Right , never do it on sod ground. Need a plow. A real plow.

Can't see the big deal here used to a Massey 175 pulling a 10 foot wide chisel plow 9 inches deep without a problem,on the 3 point linkage so more weight transfer and no wheel spin either.
