always cracked me up seeing them in a terminal island warehouse in the port on minute ..then calls in a address 35 miles north then they are filmed on sunset wayyy north ..all in 3 minutes...thats a hour easy on the 405 or more on surface sts

I'm not from anywhere near socal so I totally missed that as a kid. But all it takes is a map of LA to know the port and the Sunset Strip are nowhere near each other.

Worst cops ever...Don't wait for backup, don't frisk before putting cuffs on and most of all they are out of their jurisdiction.

They already had back up (each other) and if the perps are under arrest as these two were (as opposed to just a Terry frisk) the cuffs go on before the search. It's silly to risk patting down an uncuffed suspect if you already have PC for the arrest. Cuff 'em first. Also, CHP has statewide jurisdiction, doubly so when it comes to GTA's, which is what I presume was going on in this clip. Technically even civilians can make an arrest for an on-view felony.

I love this program, but, I always wondered 🤔, how CHIP officers patrolled residential areas ,and streets. Looks like the LAPD is of no use, or ,don't ever seem to be on the scene. How can a highway patrol 🚓 officer issue a ticket for a citizen running a 4 way ✋ stop!!! I watched every single episode day after day, when they were on ,up until the 6TH and final season, those episode were so PAINFUL to watch!! Gene Simmons wannabes, sea monster, the ET?? Orangutangs, cattle on the highway, etc etc etc!!!
