@@josesitocomunica9056 once you try Mexicali Chinese food, let me tell you, the rest ain’t gonna taste the same ever. You will miss that taste, flavor, portions. Is just amazing food. Cant wait to go back visit my folks in AZ and drive down there.

My dad grew up here in the 60s and new Mexicali like the back of his hand. When I was young he used to take me to La diezinueve which is basically alley 19 for chinese food. Best I ever had, my goodness. I need to go back.

I've seen many KZreadrs attend these places and interview the owner of the museo del valle( whom btw is a very humble man),by far you've been the only one showing us more than meets the eye. Plus now I know more places to visit here. You're amazing gracias!

We love Mexicali and go there often. We met Freddie and Kenia from Malbicho/La Chinesca cervezaria. They have shown us some gems and we've found some on our own.
Wow im impressed. They know more about Chinese culture than most Chinese Americans. Much respect.
The fact that they still stick to the Chinese culture is amazing and very respectful 🙏

Back in the 1980s I was working on a project in the Imperial Valley. One night the team and I were hit with extreme Mexican food cravings. So, we headed to Mexicali . . . to discover loads of Chinese and even a few German restaurants. Mexican restaurants downtown? Nope. So, we returned to Calexico where we found a mom-owned cafe still open. As late as it was, that amazing lady made us the most incredible steak picado we had ever eaten! ❤

Aaaaw no podía creer Mexi Papa que andaba en mi amado Mexicali. Ahí habita mucha mucha de mi familia el Ferrocarril es mi barrio de niña y adolescente!! Ahí vive mi familia que padre video! Los mejores tacos de Borrego, de Carne Asada y Comida China ❤ y ese paseo por la Chinesca wow! Padrisimo

Es todo Mexipapa, Mexicali has amazing food, I used to travel to Yuma every winter for work. Definitely miss driving to Mexicali for the great food and no se diga the nightlife.

me encanto su video de verdad el mejor explicado hasta ahora sobre mexicali, muy cierto cuando dice que hay muchos restaurantes de comida china pero todos con sabor diferente.....igual las taquerias, tienen su toque cada una...y la historia de los chinos en mexicali es muy importante, contribuyeron y siguen contribuyendo a la ciudad tanto en lo economico como con su comida y cultura.
We only go to 1 that’s close to the border. We have tried others but stayed with our favorite. Im going in April and I’ll try these 2 Chinese places and everything you presented in this video. Yummmmy. Thank you Mexi-Papa. Mexicali compared to Tijuana is underrated.

😮 Mexicali changed a lot over the years and it grow a lot I love Chinese food and also the Tacos 🌮 and the menudo looks so good 👍 I would need to drive down there and try some .

Karate is not Chinese, it’s a Japanese martial art. BTW, that lady is wrong. Chuck Norris was never Bruce Lee’s student. Chuck Norris was a world class Karate middleweight champion. Bruce Lee’s martial arts was Chinese Kung Fu that later morphed into Jeet Kune Do. Both might’ve taught each other their style of fighting, but never as master and pupil. That sword she picked for you to handle is a Japanese Katana sword. Japanese sword is curved, Chinese Jian sword is straight. Having said that, the Japanese Katana sword has been decorated in Chinese style. I should be the tour guide there. BTW, the food you feature was awesome. Well done…

la rumorosa is dangerous AF but you can go from TJ to mexicali or vice versa and find Tecate in between where the beer all started, thought it changed now

Mexicali tacos have to be eaten with flour tortillas. That’s the difference between Mexicali and everyone else. If you want corn tortillas, go to Tijuana.

Almost always flour tortillas, as far as I know, and sometimes that the ladies make in the place. My favorite place is Octolan on av. Universario. Is it still open 24 hours, I wonder? I moved to Central Mexico in 2012. My favorite Chinese Restaurant is Rincon de Ponchitos on Justo Sierra across from Hippie Park or his sister's restaurant, also on Justo Sierra, China House.
