That Canadian military aircraft was there as part of an international effort to monitor and enforce international sanctions against North Korea, a country with a ill intentions against its neighbours South Korea and Japan and its actively seeking to develop nuclear weapons as well. Russians actually do it every now and then, the Chinese don't really have the long-range aerial refueling capability. They have the world's largest merchant shipping fleet so they generally use merchant and fishing vessels kitted out as electronic spy ships.

Canada didn't sanction North Korea, the United Nations Security Council did (of which China is a permanent member, with permanent veto powers).

Chinia said this occurred at Diaoyudo islands. Now it's Canada's turn to deny or confirm the exact location of the incident.

Who are you quoting? It didn’t say “ensure peace” but “enforce sanctions”. There’s sanctions against North Korea based on human rights violations I imagine

Exercising freedom of navigation in international waters. If we don’t do it , China would have taken the whole South China Sea a long time ago. This is to ensure the law is still intact and make sure that China don’t think they own the waters

Who else noticed that the Canadian aircraft was intercepted by a fighter jet trainer. The only variants of Chengdu J-10 that has two seats are the conversion trainers. So it’s either China saw the Canadian aircraft as an insignificant threat that the Chinese pilots can use to practice interceptions or China just doesn’t respect Canada to use one of its best platforms against

My son told me last night, for real. A naughty kid in his class was bored to do his assigned work, he kept trolling my boy, who is doing assignment.
