In south China’s Qingyuan city, farmers are facing huge losses caused by widespread floods. Torrential rains hit Guangdong province starting on April 19, 2024, ushering in an earlier-than-normal start to the province's annual flooding season in May and June. Huang Jingrong, one of the farmers whose fields were completely flooded, said he lost crops worth more than 100,000 yuan (US$13,806), and is waiting for government help.

@@ShuimizuI recommend installing an exhaust fan in your house to expel heat before using your AC. This can help cool down your home more efficiently, especially in the evening when the outside temperature has cooled down.
In flood-prone areas, people gotta learn that it's just gonna get worse. Expect record breaking floods, year after year

Farming is hard work and is especially tough for smaller farmers. Hope the affected farmers will receive some help from the government.

of course they won't, the government probably built a flood wall 1/5 the strength so they could pocket the money themselves. china is a joke.
Need to find way to divert this water to the north desert where water needed most.

I am afraid the flood is too server, that government focuses saving lives rather than farms for now, please go somewhere safe, money can be earned, but life is not.

可憐的中國 I live in China. Everything is miserable here, but no one dares to complain. Our *air, rivers, and soil* are contaminated with poisonous chemicals. My city experiences *record floods year after year.* This is the result of decades of environmental and infrastructure negligence. Seriously if there is next life, I wish to be born in any other country, except China.

What “violated Hong Kong”? If you’re talking about sending them to China for jail, they are part of China anyways. Sending them to China for prison is not gonna change much.
