Well done Charles hello from the sunshine coast Queensland Australia 👋🌞😎
Woo Hoo!!! How exciting!! I just love watching Charles Hanson do the Auctioning whenever I watch Bargain Hunt. I always think that he is one of the best Auctioneer's to achieve the very best price for the Red and Blue teams participating that day. Whereas some Auctioneer's don't seem to try very hard to "stretch" it out and try to get those extra few pounds, which can maka all the difference to the team!! I wish Bargain Hunt would come to Australia again...I live in South Australia & I would just LOVE to be on the show!! I watch it every day over here.

A beautiful and extremely wonderful show. I wish you permanent happiness, success and progress in your wonderful work. Health and safety to all of you with the utmost thanks and respect. Greetings.💕💕💕💕💕
Goosebumps!!! Love Charles. He’s just fab x
He runs a really good auction house.
It's lots like this where I wish auction houses had live streaming of proceedings
WOW! A lot better price than what they get on Antiques Road Trip, Paul Laidlaw's little camera aside.
Love Charles. He's as mad as a bloody Hatter. Love his passion and knowledge.
Charles is such a cool auctioneer and his enthusiasm is terrific. Great video

Go Charles.
Ole Carlos knows what he is talking about.
He really wants to get in to bed with that vase 😅. Sweet.
Congratulations Charles! What an achievement!
What a record for that amazing

Way he was handling my mind was shouting don't drop it please
The James May of the auction world.
I've never seen that in my life for a Chinese vase, although good condition, wish I could afford it!!
Charles can act like a kid in a candy shop on Antiques Road Trip and Bargain Hunt, but when it comes to the crunch, he's all business! Well done!!

@@chandrashakya5990 Why does it matter where I live? That has nothing to do with my comment about Charlie's expertise.
I love how he’s winging it around in the beginning 😂
Omg Charles
Should of been in a plex glass case for that extremely high bid and maybe 10000 pounds more. Love the Brits they got alot of mulliniums in their history
Wow!👏👌
Hysteria.
Bought a hammered gold coin from Hanson’s auction the coin was fake And they knew it trying to dump it
How exiting was that....
Sounds dear to me
Omg someone has money
Don't keep picking it up, we know you like dropping stuff
Nice bit of commission there Charlie

I'm sure that never crossed his mind 🤪
as well as a whole collection of famille rose in Oahu HI
Would be nice to have that sort of money, if I had I certainly wouldn’t buy anything like that
This is pre internet bidding at a guess.
👋👋👋
£300,000 doesn’t seem a lot for one of these.... Was it damaged?

Wonder if it is actually just a very good modern fake tbh. You would think a M&P vase of that era and of such fine quality would be worth more.
I wonder if the buyer would consider putting up £300 for a food bank, let alone £300k for a dust collecting vase.....yes , for the rich.... I'm a working class philistine

We shouldn't assume that just because they can spend a ridiculous amount on a vase that they don't give the equivalent or more to charity.
when you see something make a lot of money above auction estimate go ask can you look at it then you'll know if you see another but remember auctioneers guestimate you will normally get a better price in auction than from taking it to a local shop and make sure they are a on Line auction
No wonder he's smiling . Think of the comission
Bloody hell ~ 300k ! I can't even afford a pot to piss in... 🤣
All that money for a piece of painted porcelain....waaaaaah hoooooo! Congrats from the Netherlands!!!
hi sir I have a 18 cm qianlong nian zhi plate porcelain and I need ideas if possible your Émail . Good luck sir and thank you very much.
Sell the house honey I'm getting you a vase
Why do they always say well done at the end , it's not a game of skill all you do is make one more bid than the last bloke
yes i habe Quin longs wedding bowls mother n law , wife , emperor
Ridiculous money for a bit of fired clay and paint.
lol WE ? beleive.
Yeah
Cheap compared to many other vases of this period and style
kin wong not all was stolen China had a big drug use of opium and would trade anything at that time and as East India company was there supplying it a lot porcelain came to England legaly

kin wong They were looted by the Republic, not stolen by the English. They left China in the 20th century.

Both Britain and France looted, though France to a lesser extent than Britain. As looting formed a key feature in Britain's military budgeting process, it often led to unchecked and undisciplined grand larceny. Typically, plundered goods were gathered and routed to ports where crated freight was shipped to London auction houses which functioned in fencing the loot. Received monies went to officers, lower ranks and a compensation fund for the wounded and families of dead soldiers. Something of a nadir in post-Enlightenment European moral development.

The Chinese had a thriving porcelain market with the West. They sold these pieces. Not everything from another culture that is in the west was stolen. Get a damn grip. We should be angry at the Chinese for the vast and outrageous theft of our technology. Porcelain is just pottery.
He's as mad as a Hatter.
Buyer wants to put his thing in it as he has no female
I got a nicer one than that
I DON´T THINK THAT THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL CERAMIC.. AUCTIONS HAVE ANAMOLIES BUT THIS ONE DEFIES EXPLANATION. IT IS A VERY WEAK WORK OF ART.
