CHINESE ELECTRIC SPORTBIKE | First Ride on USA soil

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today, I finally show you guys what this electric Sportbike motorcycle from China can do! I bought this chinese motorcycle on Alibaba.com for $1500 + Shipping costs and import tariffs, with 10X better specs than the base model. It is powered by a 5000W electric motor and a 72V Lithium Ion battery. Here's how it rides!
The link to the bike and all the information is in this video:
• How I Bought an ELECTR...
BUT, if you're considering buying one like this, watch the whole video. It is very hard to get one of these.

The Chinese will build just about anything.. theyre masters at the art of throwing shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks. This was designed to be a legit bike but failed miserably because they cheaped out on the brushless motor and electronics to make this thing go fast.. So instead of pulling it off the market (China will never waste anything) they just continued on with selling it hoping to find a couple fools before their inventory becomes stale. Thats what this is. I shop at aliexpress a lot and half the crap on there doesnt work as claimed or look as it does in the pictures. You have to be very careful ordering crap from China.

this would be legally classified as a moped in texas. if it doesn't have a manual transmission and can't exceed 30mph ( I would guess it doesn't go that fast), and is 50cc or less (doesn't apply to electric scoots) then it is a moped. Although they still require a license for it. I just can't believe they thought the dual front brakes were necessary when all it does is increase the price of the bike.

A 5000 watt electric motor pulling 72 volts from a LiOn battery while carrying a payload has a speed lock for a reason. You will set your ESC / BEC on fire, or burn the Motor out pressing it that hard. When your investment goes up in flames it will not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty because of this "modification". I'm curious how long the battery will last, it's not gonna be cheap to replace 72v of LiOn.

Mr.nobody I took motorcycle mechanics in high school. We actually had a dyno and worked on bikes that our teacher took in to work on (he had a shop outside of being a teacher). I got to do a few dyno pulls on a few bikes and it was fun. They were all 600+. We had a mostly white and 90s colored Honda vtr250. I loved the look of the bike plus it was a small engine. My only issue, as with most smaller bikes, is that I am 6’5” and I looks stupid on smaller bikes. I never drove the vtr250 but I have always watched for them. I’d like to get one but I am honestly scared, of the amount of bad drivers I avoid in my car. So the thought of being on a bike when it seems like bumper cars on the road really takes me out of wanting one. I still want but how do you get over the fear of dying or being hit?

There is a speed limiter cable that you can detach from the bike controller to remove the imposed electronic speed limit. Its usually a single wire cable attached to the controller. If there is an ebike delaer in your area they can show you which cable to disconnect but they wont do it for you.

@Martyr4JesusTheChrist Well, when the likes of you, who command such a grasp over the English language, it's safe to assume in most cases, that one would have the mental capacity to read between the lines. However, if it pleases you in anyway, it definitely was my intention to call you out for the hypocrisy involved in someone like you who would go to any level to justify what you tried to attempt. In the school I attended, and the various life experiences I've had, we were taught to let people be, not point out to flaws. English isn't the first language in a lot of countries and it's pardonable as long as it makes sense in the context of the topic being discussed. Hence, when you say that my confidence is delusory, it feels good coming from someone like you who I thought didn't require spoon feeding. Also, please feel free to use examples again in the form of movies as nitwits like us need spoon feeding every once a while to figure what kind of people I/we American/African/Canadian etc millennials are. If you're looking for an ego massage, this definitely isn't the place you're getting it my friend. Hope it answers your futile attempt at trying to use elaborate words pointlessly over something so naive. P.S spell check nil-wits is spelt as nitwit, and you used 'of' before the title of the movie 'Idiocracy' is wrong in my opinion. I may be wrong since you seem to be grammatically much better off than I am!

There are regulations in China that make the bike not going fast. In China electric motorcycle is a very common commuting way for distiance like 5km-10km. It is considered as a alternative for bicycle that you don't need a license for it. As a result, lots of traffic accidents happened in the first. So the regulations came and put a top speed that dosen't do severe damage. So although your bike looks cool, you need to think it is a motor-drive bicycle rather a motorcycle.
