Mate, if you’re this excited by this video of Chinchillas, you absolutely need to check out her other music videos, ‘cos honestly, they’re f*cking AWESOME!! You’d lose you s*it, she’s so creative.
Her performance of Fingers (live for Hunger version) is beyond exceptional. It will make anyone wonder what planet she's from because it is exquisite. Even if you don't react to it, go watch it for your own amazement.

Graceful, edgy, alluring and sexy video. A voice that has excellent syncopation, accent and tone and a story telling song that easily resonates with the emotions and the heart of us all. Love it, thank you for the intro. Now I gotta go, look up Chinchilla and download my ass off.......

Fingers live is exceptional
The fact that so many first time viewers of her solo material dub her 'Queen' says so much about her. ❤ I'm almost giddy that you loved this so much, because sometimes I feel a little silly about my own musical and stylistic Chinchilla crush! 😂 ❤
Another #Masterful pop song from Chinchilla. The soft breathy dry-production intimate verses contrasting nicely with the powerful belt-yer-face-off chorus, the detail in the layered vocals, that super atmospheric Bond-theme-esque tremolo guitar running thru the whole thing.... & dripping attitude again. What's not to love?! Oh, & she could 100% make her money as a writer/producer/arranger, never mind the vocal performance skills.... this sounds *SO* crisp, yet retaining enough interesting choices so as to not be just "industry". She's a #SpecialTalent for sure. 💅 :)

Each scene steps into different cutting-off worlds; an Edward Scissorhands hairdressers, a post- apocalyptic butchers, and a medieval blocking-their-number ritual... but make it all fashun". “ But the entire team behind the video deserve accolades galore! What a wonderful appreciation of her art. “Emotionally provocative “ is such a good descriptor. She performs so fearlessly. I was looking up the lyrics on google and was surprised to find this was written by two other songwriters. It feels so personal to her, I thought she’d written it. Knowing she chose this song gives it a different feel for me, less personal revelation more creative exploration - and dare I say so, fun?

Chinchilla is the main songwriter, I suspect your saw her real name rather than her professional name in the lyricist credits (which are typically, for copyright reasons, listed under legal names). I won't repeat her real name (inital is D) as she perfers Chinchilla to be used. Chinchilla is known to work with other lyricists and producers on some of her tracks, particularly when seeking a specific creative sound or input. Also, it appears from some of her song credits that if, whilst in the studio for example, an engineer/producer provides lyric contributions that makes it into the final cut then she gives credit for those as well. Although, you very much hit the nail on the head with both the personal revelation and creative exploration points - both seem true and come across in spades. Chinchilla was also heavily involved in the video as the concept creator and co-director.

@@tnae Yes. Her audition was taped December 2022 - after splitting with her old management and label, but before popping off with Little Girl Gone. The Voice UK only started airing a few weeks ago (with Chinchilla's segment) and they're still in the audition phase of airing. Needless to say, many of us have theories of what will unfold haha

Also of note, Cut You Off was released under Universal Music Group (in case you get a copyright claim) and the Little Girl Gone license transferred to UMG also (after originally being released independently).
