DIY chinchilla castle hut vlog! Watch as we make a hanging hut for my pet chinchillas!
They had an old hut from Chintopia on Etsy that they have completely destroyed, and it is finally time to create a new one for them! However, we have not created a hut without nails! So we are experimenting with creating chinchilla cage accessories with dowel rods instead of nails!
Once we figure out the best method, we will be back with a proper tutorial but until then enjoy our hut making vlog!

Hello can you please give my advice about chinchilla bonding, I have a chinchilla and I bought another one and and I started the bonding process and they were facing each other by the cage sides and it’s been three days like this and I decided to give them play time in my room together the first day was like OK he didn’t bite each ader and the second day my first chinchilla that I got years ago bite the new one and I don’t know what to do Little bit of furr fell out but he’s okay I don’t know what to do should I continue the bonding process please give me advice don’t know what to do.♫

Hi! I actually would not recommend the bonding process that you are using. Bonding in a play area is very stressful for chinchillas as they are burrowing animals and being in an open space may put them on guard. I would also not suggest a long drawn out bonding process as separating chinchillas will restart the bonding process each time. I would not treat the wood with anything. You can sand off any urine stains if necessary.
How much would it cost for you guys to build me one of those

Sorry, right now I am struggling to find the time. I have another KZread channel and am working on creating an Etsy shop with chinchilla products. Once things slow down, I will return with more regular content because I miss it!

It is a spiritual/spooky channel I run with my friend, completely different than the content on Chin Villain. Haha! Once I finish making prototypes for Etsy I will try to post more here! Wood glue is non-toxic and is commonly used in the construction of chinchilla products instead of nails that could be dangerous if they become exposed from chewing.
