As a chinese, it's sad to see how bad the Chinese basketball team is getting. with the amount of basketball population and money invested in Chinese basketball, at least we should be the best team in Asia and getting closer to the top European teams. Funny how we thought Yaoming's era was only the beginning of the rise, and now turned out to be the best we could ever get.

In China in the last decade or so, the level of basketball has been regressing because of higher salaries in China and a new generation of basketball players unwilling to go abroad to challenge themselves. It's great to see them playing abroad and seeing the gap between them and the NBA.

Team A is definitely better than team B for sure. It is uncertain if team A could beat this Hornets or not, but no serious basketball fans would assume a national team with professional players could be "destroyed" easily as you mentioned.
