From the 1st December on you dont need no visa anymore up to two weeks being in China as a german Citizen which is great!

I recently did a trip with China Southern on a 350 airbus with same seat as you. I found the leg room was generous but felt cramped in the 3 by 3 by 3 seating configuration. meaning not enough seat width. The return journey was on a 787-9 dreamliner with same seating config. The plane seemed more comfortable. The crews on the two flights were excellent and the meals were beyond my expectations.. Yor review was was quite accurate. Cheers.

A350 have wider seats than 787s and China Southern 787s feel more cramped than most airlines for some reason

I recently booked an economy class ticket classed as Z. And according to China Southern, Class Z is not entitled for a free accommodation. So what class is your ticket?

I flew this exact flight about 6 months ago and the best thing about it was the plane the food wasnt great and the IFE was hidden for some reason (western movies are there but there hidden behind a wall of chinese movies xD )

Es gibt ja mehrere economy classes. Standart, flex und full flex. Und nicht in allen kriegt man was zu essen. Welche hattest du? 11 std ohne essen find ich schwierig und ist sehr untypisch

Did you need a visa? I heard that for german citizens a visa is no longer required (from December 1st 2023) if you are staying in China for less than 15 days

As I understand, a new policy says if you are citizen of Germany, Dutch, Spain, Italy, France, you can visit China visa free for 15 days.

One of my favorite KZreadrs flew to my favorite city in China! :D China Southern is no longer a member of Skyteam but it still has close cooperation with KLM. They used to fly A380 to AMS! But I gotta say, even though I'm Cantonese, I would not choose it if I had other options. The airline has had a lot of controversies in recent years and their service has somehow been terrible.

Flying Tokyo to Melbourne next year. After the horrendous experience we had in 2008 - causing us to swear CZ off - let’s hope things have massively improved as much as indicated here.

Hi Dominik, erstmal danke für das Review - ich fliege in 2 Monaten mit CSA nach Taipei, und dein Video hat dabei geholfen mich mental darauf vorzubereiten. Kleine Frage - Du erwähnst ja, dass du 10 Stunden Umsteigzeit in Guangzhou hattest - ich habe auch 7,5 Stunden und ehrlich gesagt keine Lust, nur im internationalen Bereich des Flughafens zu warten. Würdest Du sagen, dass auch in dieser kurzen Zeit es sich lohnt, in die Stadt zu fahren, vor allem wenn man noch sich für das visumfreie Einreisen anmelden muss? oder soll ich mir lieber irgendwie einen Lounge-Zugang organisieren?

Würde sagen geh in die Lounge also so würde ich es machen ich fliege am 29 den selben flug wie Dominik hin habe 6 Stunden Aufenthalt unf werde nur warten vorallem weil ich zum ersten mal außerhalb von europa bin und nicht weiß was ich machen muss weil ich auch noch einen inlandsflug mache ich bin echt nervös

Hallo in die Runde. Ich fliege auch bald mit China Southern von Frankfurt nach Guangzhou. Wir haben eine Pauschalreise gebucht. Ab wann kann man denn seine Sitzplätze reservieren? Denn der Online-Checkin ist ja erst 2 Tage vorher offen. Und eine andere Frage ist, ob das im Video gesehene Essen schon im Flug inkl. ist? Wo und wann kann man denn Gerichte wählen? Vielen Dank

Ich abe zum Glück schon vorher ein Video angbeschaut und kenne mich etwas mehr über "GOURGEOU CHINA SOTHERN AIRLINES!!! ♥♥♥Der junge Herr er das Video mit uns geteilt hat, hat alles gezeigt und seine "sehr freundliche, ehrliche und sehr positive Meining" getextet! Man muss nicht immer das Gesicht vor der Kamera halten und sich selbst im Fokus schmeißen. Es geht schließlich nicht um dich sondern um die Airline. lol
