I have the funky cat and it is well built, but the range at the moment in spring UK is only 150 miles not the 193 promised, the dealer said nothing wrong with it and it's my driving style, I'm 76 and do 90% town driving, whilst at the dealers they have the ora3, a renamed funky cat, £35000 this is NOT a cheap car and EV's have to come down to below £20K for the average motorist to afford one although mine is 6 month old is only worth £18 K, but I lease mine so depreciation is not a concern

Russian consumers are having enough problems dealing with Chinese import cars and those same cars are manufactured/assembled in Belarussia.

Most of the comments remind me of cowboys when cars were first made for sale to the public. You cannot judge the car untill you or someone you can trust has owned one.

Can't give them away in UK. Too expensive and near impossible to insure due to lack of spares. Going for peanuts at car auctions. Have yet to see one on the road.

I have one on lease and is now six months old, but as you say insurance is expensive about twice the price of an ICE car which is offset against fuel cost so same overall

This is a lovely design and styling approach. Moving completely away from the stiff, look-a-like panel stiffening. Also - no fake radiator grille because the designers did not know how to design a front end with no engine in it. It is not a clone of some other current car design.

Ora is a very cute car with lots of safety AI features. Nice affordable EV car that doesn't cost U like Tesla price. Even better if Great wall provided battery swapping monthly subscription like Nio ET7. So We don't have to pay battery replacement which cost AU$50K.

Interesting with some design cues of Mini and others, but call me skeptical. I would want to see an actual car review with driving impressions, owner feedback, serviceability, and repair history. The narration suggests this is AI generated Chinese propaganda because while the narrator's accent is American, they make reference to the car's bonnet (an obvious British term). Also the incorrect pronunciations of other terms or car manufacturers such as suede, Fiat, Porsche, and Volkswagen. Built on the "lemon platform", indeed.

I work for a car industry. That car looks like it's a lot of cars put into 1 1st in the front. Looks like a Mini Cooper back. Looks like a Nissan Leaf. The inside looks like a Mini Cooper. Display, even the buttons look like from a Mini Cooper. They just made one car from a lot of different cars. Doesn't look nice.

They sell these and l have only seem one GWM hasn't got a good reputation in Australia they came out with an SUV and ute a couple of years ago and used asbestos yes asbestos in some gaskets not a great idea since the use of it was banded in 1980 and the poor quality build still continues as EVs are been sold not many but a GWM EV isn't selling well over Tesla's infact other Chinese EVs aren't selling well BYD MG who also sell petrol cars sell more of them than EVs but basically they are all of poor quality not as good as the Japanese makes and most Australians buy Toyota's the petrol and diesel ones there are very few other makers that will knock Toyota from its number one spot has been there for 26 years and there is only one other make of vehicle that will knock them of number one spot is Mazda
