In china if the gov`t wants something done it gets done! Not everything works but they still keep trying. In america and in europe it is almost impossible to create a major project as there is always some group that tries to stop anything!

I like that city design : theres a massive river flow in the middle 👌

It is an exciting project indeed! A mega urban laboratory for the 21st century. I salute the courage of Xi Jinping to embark on this adventure and wish it all the best.

I just hope it doesn't turn to another ghost city as you mentioned.

The one thing that I didn’t like was the fact that the city is being built in an area that’s prone to flooding. When the problem comes the customers are going to be stuck paying for the damages 😑

I think all the good land already have an existing city on it. It's not like they are building a small neighborhood. it's an entire city. Their choice is probably between the desert(which China has lots of) and this.

0:50 This was a very famous place in China. The resident of the top apartment built a mountain style luxury villa on the roof. I think it's very cool and unique. Unfortunately the city planners did not like it, and ordered the guy to get rid of it. Too much regulation, poking their nose into people's projects.

Always consider the balancing of nature with modernazation of technology and businnesses..

They sell the apartments because people use apartments as banks in china because the banks are unreliable or capital is restricted from leaving the country. They also like to buy apartments for their kids to use in the future. But yes a lot of them are vacant

China has a public debt of $4k per capita. The USA has a debt of $46k. The Chinese are only 4x more numerous than the USA. Not 11x. This is much more reasonable than the budget of the US military. To be financially reasonable the US should disband its army.

Its amazing ,but their owe people being push out to other countries. It is very nice!
