March 16-17, 2024. My first time ever running on track. Lap time was 1:49.74.

Very nice! s197 is a very well kept secret when it comes to track day cars, very capable!

I’m lucky the gearing is short (I run out in 4th at 110) and the power band is just flexible enough to do that. Definitely more time in it with some shifting but not with my current talent level. Will be a good area to practice more next time

specs on the car? I cant seem to get my 14 track pack over .95 g's though the closest to a track ive been on is tail of the dragon. cheers

I’ve got 19x10 wheels with 285/35/19 continental extreme sport 02s. And a full mild suspension setup with a little more camber at 1.7 degrees. The banked corners and track surface are likely helping my grip levels. 0.95 g’s is very good on the street
