Hi. Nick is a long hair chihuahua. Since we got him his tongue has never fit all the way in his mouth. It always stuck out a little. He is now a senior aged chihuahua and has maybe 1 tooth so it sticks out a little farther. But not to worry he eats and drinks no problem 😌

Can confirm: senior dogs with missing teeth tend to have their tongues stick out through the gap. Mine’s the same way.
