Highlights from the 1/28-29th airsoft event held in Burlington NC at Copeland mills textile plant.
We played here a month ago and this go around was a much better event… The increased player count helped a lot, and with the size of this building you need all the players you can get…
I thought Valkyrie did a great job hosting this game. I wouldn’t hesitate to go to another one of their events.
The game itself started it out well on Friday night… lots of communication from everyone…. We definitely seemed to hold our own through the evening…
I would guess the game ended Friday with the scores pretty close.
Saturday was a different story…. Communication was none existent… I’m not sure what happened but there was a stark difference between the 2 days… Green on the other hand had a game plan and executed it well… multiple coordinated attacks kept us on defense for most of the day….
I would love to see comments on here on what you thought about the game and what you thought happened…
I don’t know the full conclusion of who won by Sundays end but I’m fairly confident Green team pulled this out…
As we were leaving close to 8:30 last night we were informed Green had 36 vs 10 Tan left in the game… with us calling it minutes left to play that number went down even more..
They were in total control… one thing I learned from this event was how important communication was… our Tan’s total breakdown in communication cost us the event.. You can have some of the best teams on your side and it doesn’t matter if your not playing as a unit..
Thanks to all the players who came out and braved the miserable conditions… lol that was some bone chilling cold.
