I first started listening to Synthwave because of Satisfactory and found S K Y W A V E and that was the most relaxed I've been in a while and seeing a sequel feels like meeting a childhood friend again

4 years since the first space trip…those days were just something better

Synth like this always gives me a longing feeling. Summer 83' Stavromula Beta Central Hub District 9 You've been home from work for a couple hours but haven't felt the energy to do anything. Your apartment is in dissaray and dinner still needs making. A wave of air blows through the open slider. You walk up to meet it and breathe in the warm summer air. The neon signs on your residential street leave afterimages in your eyes as you turn away. With the heat to your back, you find leftover noodles in the fridge. Nice and easy. A night like this needn't go wasted. So you take the stairs to the roof of your building and make sure to chock the door. Your cassette player is on your belt, you pop in this mix. You take your noodles and crack a fresh drink as you sit yourself on the edge of the roof. The city stretches on for miles and miles, the midnight lights still glowing fervently. As you eat, you watch ships enter low orbit and jet off to more important places. Sometimes when life feels like it's slipping away, what you need can be found right in front of you. It's easy to miss when you're always looking so far ahead. Your food finished, you take a moment of quiet contemplation on the cold concrete, and practice some Tai Chi. Your breathing centers your mind and soul in the here and now, and you make your way back downstairs. The full weight of the day finally hits you, and the couch looks more inviting than making your way to the bedroom. You leave the slider open, and let the drone of cars and flickering of neon lull you to sleep... ~ Thanks for reading, happy listening ~

You know it's funny, not funny in the sense that something humorous caused an enjoyable uproar, but a sort of rare and sadly dwindling kind of specialness, something that has that 'thing', about it. It could be a person or a place or in this case, Synthwave. And these cosmic melodies unquestionably serves our legitimate expanse for consciousness and imaginary thought processes into breakthrough realms. I'm digging it brothers, keep your heads above the clouds, and don't let the clown world bring you down.

You don't release as much content as other great, similar channels (i.e. Prime Thanatos, Astral Throb), but dammit, your quality is somehow always a notch above theirs. Nice work.

7 months ago, I asked for a S K Y W A Y I I 3 months later, you released it and I missed it! You may not realize this, but S K Y W A Y I was what soothed my mind during my hardest times due to Covid. It helped me escape, and be calm even for a while. It also helped me focus on what needed to be done, without feeling distracted by the constant sense of impending doom around us. Then, I asked for an extension and it's now a reality. The first part will always be special to me, and this will only make everything better. Thank you for this!
