‘Chilling’ wake-up call issued over two-thirds of exports halting upon war breakout
Sky News host Steve Price says a “wake-up call” has been issued today as two-thirds of Australian exports and 40 per cent of imports could come to a halt if war breaks out in our regions.
“There has been a wake-up call issued today,” he said.
“About just how vulnerable Australia’s trade routes would be should a war break out in our region.
“Which, obviously, would involve China, let’s be honest.
“If there was a global conflict, well, you can forget about exporting anything.”

Yes. All MSM singing from the same song sheet though so probably been told to bury it
It would be nice if Australia could be more self-sufficient but with massively expensive electricity, wages, supa, tax etc, we’ll never be.
Better start Prepping Aussies!!!😊
So we are expecting a war are we?

Is this a surprise or what?
Ironic, the thumbnail shows the inside of a live export ship. The ALP has already killed that trade. The ALP is dangerous.
It would be hilarious watching Sky News go into meltdown if China ceased trading with Australia.
How many weeks of fuel do we hold? I think we hold 3 weeks worth, the rest of our fuel is held for us in the US, thanks to a decision by the Morrison Government. Obviously it was easier than actually building the required storage facilities.
Including petroleum and diesel. Yet SNA remains religiously anti EVs. Well done 😅

Australia would suffer if the Labor party PV solar panels and wind turbines are no longer imported.
