I kinda understand the anger that can go hand in hand with depression if this was the case with him. As some one who is currently with depression and anxiety some times some times all the feel is frustration,. You so desperately want things to go back to when you were okay, or just want the misery to stop. But it doesn’t and you lash out some times. I never have personally even to people in online video games but I can see why a person would.

I'd like to see Vorobey cover a video about video game banter and toxicity, like the differences between them and how to identify who is genuinely being goofy, and/or who is sinking to the realm of toxicity. (In case people were always curious , and how to avoid being toxic) I also think it could be a good way to help people playing games like this to better understand how to focus on the fun aspect of gaming, rather than taking it way to seriously that it starts to affect you mentally in a highly negative way.

It's important to recognize that when someone openly and loudly talks about killing themselves they may be desperately seeking support and understanding from others, which he didn't quite receive by people who encouraged him to actually do it. This openness about being suicidal can indicate an actual genuine cry for help. While of course some individuals may use such language to seek attention or provoke reactions (something completely unheard of in tf2), but it's still chilling how he went from playing matches daily to none at all right after he said these things...

Think about all the people you’ve gamed with throughout the years, even those guys you had a passing encounter with. Maybe they said something funny on VC, maybe they healed you at risk of their own life, maybe they were following you around and constantly meleeing you despite being on your team. Think about how many of those guys who were just pixelated representations on your screen that all sported some obscure gamertag. Their gamertag might’ve been funny, witty, offensive, or even downright bizarre. Perhaps their gamertag was an inside joke they had with themselves, holding within it some private, sentimental meaning. Think about how many of those guys have since passed away. Maybe you called them a slur. Maybe you friended them and played a few more games. Maybe you got an invite from them a couple of times and declined it cus you forgot where you know them from. Maybe they were on with you gaming late into the night and you guys had some heart to heart where you just sat in a lobby talking, opening up to a stranger about real heavy stuff cus you knew you’d never meet irl and they wouldn’t judge you. Maybe they always had this weird looking avatar that you could never determine what it was. Maybe they were just a pathetic stat at the end of the match as you saw their name listed with a horrible score and you wondered how they could play so badly. Maybe you heard their baby crying through their mic, their mom yelling at them, a dog barking. Maybe they told everyone on the server that their gf just broke up with them and, in a rare show of compassion and brotherhood, everyone set aside their toxicity for a moment to dust off the guy’s shoulders, help him back on his feet, and give him some encouraging words. Maybe you’d see them listed as perpetually online, playing some obscure single player game seemingly 24/7. Maybe the sight of that green dot next to their name in your friends list was enough to make you feel less alone during times when you were gaming a lot more and a lot later into the night than you knew you should’ve. For those brief moments when our lost and vacant souls collide online in these virtual worlds of illusion, fantasy, and violence entertainment, we love each other. We hate each other. We say the ugliest, most hateful things to others that we would never dare say in real life, we hear the funniest things we’ve ever heard. For a couple of minutes every so often, we get to be the heroes we wish we were, winning battles, saving lives, defeating evil and cheating death. We get to do it alongside randoms who in that brief instant prove themselves as our brothers in victory and our nemeses in defeat. In this world, death has no consequence. Humiliation is as easy to escape as pressing a button. But the fellowships we form end up just as fleeting as those few and far between moments of glory. Maybe now, those same players you once fought and died alongside but who have since left their mortal bodies simply sit as grey names in your friends list as… • *_last logged on:_* _over a year ago_

As someone who has a lot of experience with depression, anger issues, etc., videos like this break my heart. It’s very likely that our “bleach” character could only ever find meaning, hope, and purpose in the joys of Team Fortress 2, but when that wasn’t working for them anymore…they gave up. Whether this means they actually killed themselves or just separated from the game will probably be debatable forever, but I hope their story encourages more people to be kind. As the saying goes, you never know what someone else is going through…especially behind a screen

There is a school of thought that suggests that telling others to do certain things reinforces the idea of performing those actions yourself. So it's possible that all his time telling people to off themselves fixated it more strongly in his mind. And seeing how much time he spent in lobbies and how little emotional support he received, I would not be surprised if at some point he "lost the spark" for TF2 and with nothing else going for him, he just... ragequit life.

Meeting these kinds of people is horrible, yet sad.. it always gives me the feeling they are like this due to a rough life, anger issues or something else degrading.. I really hope that Bleach managed to find some help and didn’t follow through on it, all the stuff he said is nowhere near acceptable, but anyone can change, I hope he found some help and is trying to fix what’s wrong right now.. Back then I didn't really have any goal except making someone's day so I can feel proud of it, but if there's anything I can get from this video, it's that you should always be kind to others in online games cause you never know what they're going through Like let's be real, this guy is dead, there's no way around it

It may be not as tragic as we imagine. Quite a lot of people with suicidal tendencies usually become more cheered up and happy-looking right before the day before their death, since they made *the* decision to end their life and therefore aren't affected by heavy thoughts about such decision. But this person just seemed slightly angrier than usual and maybe, was only thinking about it. So, they left tf2 completely (weirdly, on friday 13th) for unknown reason (burnout, or maybe some personal tragedy - hence that unhealthy obsession with "cancer" jokes) and we don't know their actions after. Maybe they made a better life, maybe they changed their online identity - who knows.

I still play games but its not nearly as much and as damaging for my mental health anymore. It was honestly to the point of playing just to play and i wasnt having fun, just getting mad at every death never even enjoying when i did something cool or won a game. It was a difficult cycle to break. Sometimes its easier to escape and not be present in the world, but you create your own hell when you do that. Confronting your problems instead of trying to hide will always be better imo. Idk why i typed all this but i hope someone could relate to it and not feel as alone, we all go through problems in life but I think its best to enjoy the challenge of overcoming odds and giving a large middle finger to whatever demons you may be fighting. But then, I started to go out there, making friends and boosting my confidence instead of yelling at a computer game. I then started to play basketball, and was determined to become better at it. I barely tried to touch videos games after that. But here and there, I played some tf2 from time to time. I usually tried to stay away from playing video games that much. And it worked. For my message to other people out there, go out there. Make friends, learn what there is to do out there, and break out of that unhealthy cycle. You might just find something truly right for you.

At the time i was heavily depressed, been in and out of psych wards for around two years, generally doing pretty poorly mentally wise and using this game as a crutch to distract myself. One day i was already doing very badly and thus playing badly and got shit talked into the ground by some extremely toxic guy on my team for like 30 minutes and i just snapped. He told me to kys and i almost did that day, if it weren't for my parents finding me before it could happen. Be beware of what youre saying online, you never know who you might be talking to. Im doing way better now and don't get affected by toxic behaviour in online games anymore btw so it fortunately worked out. If you get this worked up over a video game, you have serious issues. I hope this serves as a grim reminder to anyone who takes games too seriously. Games are supposed to be fun, and you’re supposed to enjoy playing them. When you get so caught up in wanting to win and “be the best” you can start to lose yourself and act in a way you’d never act irl. And in extreme cases, like our unfortunate Bleach here, it can end very badly. What I’m trying to say is, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to win, but try to have fun more. Learn to hold your L’s, and sometimes just take a step back if it’s really getting to you. Always remember: It’s pixels on a screen. it doesn’t mean anything whether you win or lose, just that you enjoyed it.

Starting now, this should be taken as a warning to anyone who likes talking trash or insulting other people in game. Whether or not they deserve to be bullied or trash talked because of their toxicity, try not to use their own words against them like saying kys or hope you get cancer. That said, I'm sorry but I have to disagree with Vorobey saying that trash talking is fine just because he does it and it has become such a common thing in gaming. It still doesn't make it okay to be spreading such negativity against other people/players. As a Community of the TF2 Fanbase, we must be better. Not everyone would take kindly to insults which is why there has been so many people being offended easily and some are even becoming toxic by that moment because of these trash talkers who've given such a bad influence on them after getting so mad and offended like how most people would normally react to such words being thrown at them. In the end, they're the ones who would choose to pick up those words and throw it right back at those people who were a nuisance to them, and before they realized it, they have now been intoxicated by other people's toxicity by doing the same thing. Try to resist the urge to talk trash no matter how little you think it insults anyone. You are not them. Don't be like your average trash talking player in any FPS games that ever exists. In one of these days, the things we say to someone might actually come true and we might just end up regretting it. You tell someone who's easily offended, manipulated, hot-headed, and unstable, and they might just actually do it. Everybody gangsta until you bully a bully and they end up turning out to be the real victims who are actually in danger and that their behavior has been influenced by the people around them.

I agree with the point that trash talking shouldn't be done no matter what, i was playing roblox ability wars and was playing engineer and was trying to build a house, and a dude kept targeting me and trash talking me. I felt really mad, sad, and frustrated, because he was using abilities that were super annoying and impossible to counter, combined with engineer's lack of combat abilities (unless you already built some contraptions) engineers are easy targets for toxic people and trash talkers. The worst part? HE HAD SO LITTLE IN-GAME POINTS IT WAS AS IF HE WAS NOT EVEN GONNA BOTHER TO PLAY THE GAME PROPERLY, HE JUST WANTS TO TARGET PEOPLE FOR NO REASON, TRASH TALK THEM, AND THEN GO BECOME SUICIDAL CAUSE OF HIS REAL LIFE PROBLEMS.

(almost) it's just need a mirror to make him realized who he is but idk if that's going to happen or not but i guess because for content video ,maybe he's not gonna change i guess i'm assuming that he probably does everything like that almost everytime by purpose of course just hopefully he's not actually toxic in real life If he does it for his own pleasure, that's a type of person who is worse than just being toxic

I sincerely doubt he offed himself "over a game." When I see that he previously spent hours a day, every day, playing a game, and being a toxic a-hole, it should be immediately obvious. Hours a day, every day, so he likely doesn't have a job, probably doesn't have any friends, has no other hobbies or coping mechanisms, and he just wastes away in his room, angry and pissed off at the world, playing TF2 and taking out his anger on everyone he plays with. Contrary to popular belief, suicide is not usually caused by being sad. It's usually caused by _hate._ Hatred of the world, of life, of people, your family, of all of it. This poor guy probably had nobody in his life who cared about him, so he basically just said "fuck everything, I'm leaving. This place sucks."

one thing i think people get wrong with this story is that they think what happened is because of a tf2 rage entirely. It played a part yes, but he was already messed up in the head, if it was "skill issue" or "getting too mad" alone, he would've disappeared suddenly. But naming urself "suicidal" and planning it out, being overly toxic than usual and telling people you're going to do it today makes me think there's more to it than a TF2 rage tantrum. either way, it's obvious that this person played the game "WAY" too much and treated it as a scapegoat from IRL only to realize the issue is his himself, anger issues, mental health problems, and certainly playing games didn't help him out the slightest. This person and "VenusianRapper" both are an example to look into yourself and health before treating video games as a scapegoat, because it won't work it with you.

Now this guys messages about cancer makes me curious about if one of his beloved or family member died of cancer. Because most of the people I see has these anger issues. I also have ange issues like this because I cant really control my anger. I think that is because in the past, I grew up with toxic and mad people on the internet. And my anger always exposes me. But Im trying really hard to not trash talk people but sometimes I just cant take it. And sometimes a very affective event happens and I just dont try to hold it and let myself talk sh*t. And this guy or lady might have the same poblem she or he isnt trying to hold her or his anger anymore. And I think that is because of a trragical event happened in her or his life. And, who knows? Maybe there are more people like this. Like those we always see in Vorobey's videos. And we dont know what happened to them. Sometimes anger might cause suicide or turning the person into a f*cking masochist. (Idk if i spelled that right my main langage aint English) But I can predict what those people do when they get mad. Once when I was home alone I got really mad that I just smashed my head really hard into the wall. I dont remember what happened next but I remember that I was laying on the ground and that I was still home alone. So uhhh, before making people mad at you or making them literally hate you, just try to not be that annoying because madness is dangerous. It spreads like an illness and its hard to block. Edit: I hope Vorobey stops making people mad at this point and just starts making normal tf2 content. This also proves that it might be a virtual world that isnt real, but there are real people controlling the world inside. So when you see a person getting mad at a game before saying "dude it just a game" just try to have an empathy. Most people play games to have fun. But when an asshole kicks in and ruins your day making you talk sh*t and exposes you to everyone you just feel bad. And imagine that the same guy posts a recoding of it and earns MONEY from it. I would just suicide honestly...

I've played so much tf2 comp that i've become desentizied to the most abhorent, brutal and toxic experiences in TF2. And then we have people like Bleach. Who tries his hardest but always fail, and in most cases, they become so fed up with being a failure that they killbind irl. They want to be good at something, but no matter how much they practice and play, they don't become better according to their own standards. So they spend their days, infront of their computer, rotting away in anger and dispair. Fueled by anger and hatred how they are never considered good enough. How do I have experience with something like this? I was someone like that, except I didn't kms. I instead focused on my mindset, my body and health. Now, I just play casually and for fun. Because that's what games are made to be, right?

Honestly kinda have a story similar except it was on halo and i unfortunately heard the man's on mic,i wont give any full names or anything as i also knew him from our visits to comicon way back then but while he was extremely toxic i found out later said issues were derived from his living circumstances. Basically lived with shitty people and in turn slowly became one himself only in video games and to those that im my opinion were pretty cool people but this is the sad reality we live in, people are by nature self destructive and often show that in their own ways my friend however unfortunately one night had been dumped after walking in on his girl cheating on him and well the rest is its own story. R.I.P. Phillips you may have been an asshole and toxic but you had your quirks and did know funny insults for someone so down in the dumps,i dont mean to sound dumb or anything is just hearing this story reminded me of him beyond the erm...bangs i heard that night.

man, this is really hard to swallow, i have my own problems (I mean, everyone does, i just mean like something especific, don't want to go deep on it tho) i find games as a way to disconnect for a moment and just vibe. And ironically i find games that could and probably will make me rage quite charming and calming, i find it hard to express strong emotions on my own so the feel of being at least a bit upset from time to time makes me feel more like a real person. And man this game, i just found out about it like a week ago (At the moment i'm writing this) from a friend recommendation and i really enjoy it a real big lot, the community is really fun, the matches are a wave of emotions and i love it. I have genuinelly laugh out loud at some in-game ocurrencies. Like one day i was feeling a bit down so i logged in and got into this map called 2fort and nobody was "playing" , i was confused at first and a bit frustrated, but after a moment i just decided to join the people and oh dude, from a moment to another i was just laughing like crazy. Everyone was just dancing, taunting, telling jokes and doing silly things, that really made my day a lot better. Since that day i just feel like tf2 is a game for me, even in real matches, even when winning or losing i really enjoy it a lot i really hope anything bad happened to bleach, i guess some people take things a little more seriously and forget about just having fun and enjoying your games being blinded on rage or those bad feelings from a bad day/week/month/year or even just a bad moment on your life

At my lowest points, seeking escapism in a game was everything. Good times in game = good times no matter how you got them. ...However, having bad times all around you while you play the game, and then bad times happen in the game... It feels like the end of the world because the world is already crumbling around you and this is all you had left and it's basically spitting in your face.
