"You Should Have Known" helped me deal with my Dad passing away unexpectedly March 9th. Thank you very much for making that song. The week after he died, I was scheduled to go on a cruise to Jamaica, and he would have wanted me to go, so I went. I bought the Chillhop Essentials Spring 2017 mix and listened to it on repeat on the Carnival Vista from Miami to Jamaica to the Cayman Islands to Cozumel, and back, just reflecting and collecting my thoughts. Music is a wonderful medicine.

Yes! My wife suggested lo fi music, less than a year ago, and I looked it up, and started playing these hour long and two hour long batches of music. My wife can be very finicky, but she likes most of these. And, as I read the comments, I see that so many listeners feel so good and that makes me feel even better. Like sitting in a room with 5 or 10 people, and this one or that one, from time to time, makes a comment, expressing how much they like the music, how good it makes them feel, how peaceful, how serene, how they have no troubles while listening to this. Nice.

I discovered chillhop 6-7 months ago, just about the time I quit high paying job to pursuit my dram of filmmaking, making youtube videos. The music is full of emotion, one that set your creative insights spiraling in such a fluid motion that makes it calming to take a hold of. Your music has inspired, motivated, brought back nostalgic and breathe emotion. Thank you for creating your art and continue to crush it for 2018 and helping us all out :D

2017 was a good year for me. I felt like my that year changed me, and for the better. It gave me all I wanted from that year, and more.

Fantastic playlists. A treasure trove of Nujabes inspired tracks...among many others. Perfect sound for studying, reading, writing, and...just chilling.

Looking out of my house window and while looking at the trees swinging back and forth while bird chirping fills up the void of mother natures creation as i look out on a sunny day weather cloudy as sun rays fill up my back yard i once notice how beautifull life is with the planet and creatures of both life and plants may this live on forever.....in the eyes of human people roaming the earth to fulfill more....

God 2017 feels like a lifetime ago

Point Pleasant has to be one of my favorites in an extensive list of favorites! I love the exuberance of the people singing and that frenetic rythm guitar in the background! So Weather Reportish!! Right along with Born Again by Fushou, another Weather Report sounding song. Equally my fave is Amazonas, it has that 70's Chicano vibe!
