Chill Photography in Upstate NY - A Road Trip with the Leica SL2S
In this video, I took my #leicasl2s & #fujifilm x-pro3 out to do client work in the Catskills for Seminary Hill, Organic/Sustainable Orchard, and Cidery (www.seminaryhill.co). It was a chill four-day trip exploring the small town of Callicoon, NY - allowing some time to unplug from the city and NYFW.
The purpose of my SL2S in my kit is to be a workhorse. I use it for all things photo and video. My favorite thing is adapting m-mount lenses on it to slow things down and make composing a bit more intentional.
My Fujifilm X-PRO3 is the perfect b-camera. It handles photos flawlessly, is super lightweight and compact, and charges via USB-C, which is a must for me when I am on the go. Since it can also shoot 4K 24FPS video (and more), I can use it as a talking head camera on the road too!
Both of my kits are weather resistant and can take quite the beating!

@@jkdrake1 I'm assuming you're referring to the talking head video? If so, that's just raw straight out of the camera!
Leica SL2-S + X-Pro3 = well curated gear setup. I'm looking at doing something similar and trade the M10 for the SL2s. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for noticing, Fred! I went through so many cameras to figure this one out. I originally had the SL2S and the M10 as my go-to combo, but quickly realized they can't share the same stage. You're going to love the M10!

@@moodsbymark Exactly my thought process :-) If you look at my channel, you'll see that I've also went through SO many itteration of the "ideal" camera combo setup. Having the SL2-S (and my existing M glass) and X-Pro 3 will give me the "best" of both worlds. Cheers!
