As I got older I just wanted good looking plants, and that is generally the plants that are easier to take care of, less pest/disease problems just for a start.

I have just started my anthurium journey, so far I’ve almost killed a clarinervium, manage to keep my vittarifolium alive, have one leaf on my forgetti and now have a crystallinum which is looking the best. Things are going well 😂

I’m madly in love with anthurium ❤😂 I am amazed at the amount of varieties there are! I have not long ago ordered the vittarifolium , can’t wait for it to arrive. Really enjoying your channel 👍👍

Great video as always 👍🏻💚 Beautiful plants! I have a magnificum verde rescue from the rare plant shop. It's awesome 🥰 already putting out 2nd leaf but it's living in the cabinet 😅 🌱 I just got a besseae aff and wonder if they are hardy plants! The leaves are so thick kinda feel like cardboard 😂

That sounds awesome! My Besseae Aff has always been such a baby. Crisps up all the time, drops leaves, regrows. I haven’t found them to be hardy at all but maybe it will like you better!

Hello. Your collection is just beautiful. With a job I don't know how you look after them all. Would you put the Anthurium Pallidiflorum in the same category as the vittarifolium. I was happy to see that you have yours in SM. I was thinking of growing my seedlings in Tree Fern Fibre.

Thank you so much! I am very lucky that I am able to work from home so that helps a lot. I don’t personally have experience with the pallidiflorum but I’ve heard really good things about it! One thing I don’t like about tree fern fiber is that it attracts a lot of flies. Sphag has always worked for me so that’s what I stick with 😊

I personally fertilize my anthurium almost every watering so I would say that if def tolerates heavy feeding. Keep in mind that in SoCal we don’t really have winter and I supplement with grow lights so that might not be the right move if you allow your plants a winter dormancy period. Hope that helps!

Chiapas is not in the Yucatan peninsula, please look at a Mexican map 😭 Chiapas has high altitude cloud forest and Yucatan is a lowland, because of that it is hotter
