Mean while, the brass sections lips are burning both inside AND out! And the oboe and bassoonist are both staining their reed's in capsaicin and when their reed's can cost upwards of $40 bucks or higher for just one Reed, they will probably be feeling that burn again (to a lesser extent) next time they use it XD!
1:24 The chilli is so hot the guy had to look at his double bass just to confirm he was still playing the right instrument.

Here in America, military and police are trained to deal with non lethal pain and suffering to power through and get the job done. I have got pepper sprayed numerous times and what you learn is that you can still function, although not as well, haha. I love this, it promotes the idea that humans can do stuff, and suffer stuff, especially because the hit can be endured with determination and the idea that you cannot, cannot let your cohorts down. This is why they are professionals in their fields. If you can keep playing to that level of quality, especially a wind instrument... you deserve to be there. God, they don't look so dull anymore. Like they are finally appreciating the music.
That should be called National Danish Orchestra of Pain and Suffering. And you would easily compose something that would "move" everyone to tears
I have watched this video many times and I always marvel at these true ( insane ) professionals at work, the music is marvelous, such focus even under intense pain. I would pay good money to hear you play live.
The ladies took it very well apparently.

Definitely , alot more of the soul comes out of this orchestra because of the pain , possibly causes them to play with more fervor you could actually hear the difference , that's kind of amazing actually . My hats off to you all in this endeavor . Thank you so much 💕 for your contribution to the cause of musical theory .
This moment is key for modern civilization. True high art.
