Not usually the type of video I do, but with a growing conspiracy mindset in society I thought I'd use my platform to steer people away from vaccine misinformation. If people wanna give me counterarguments, please use your brain and don't resort to calling me a government shill or calling me dumb out of arrogance.

It's so ironic when you see them call people "sheep" like they aren't the ones mindlessly regurgitating information they found on a Flat Earth Anti Vax Facebook group. It's honestly kind of funny sometimes - the lack of self awareness is genuinely palpable.

At this point I'm just rooting for the virus. And before anyone gets onto me, I'm immunocompromised. It's a net-positive because most of the deaths are going to be people we didn't need anyway.

@@reanimationeas342 unfortunately, my dad is one. And despite us having relatives who have died of covid and them contracting covid themselves while in the same house with my family (we were all vaccinated and did not fall ill unlike him), they still stand by their conspiracy theories about it and the vaccine. Funny enough, when I ask these people to explain their viewpoints and talk about it further, they end the conversation by walking away, shouting, blocking me, or asking me for more information on covid.

There’s no fucking way this *just* came out, I woke up like ten minutes ago. Also noti gang

I'll never like these COVID vaccinations. I get the flu shot every year, get all the maintenance shots at 30 (I think I need a Tdap shot here shortly), but man, the Moderna and Pfizer shots messed up a few of my family members. My uncle is currently battling sarcoidosis due to the Moderna vaccine, and one of my cousins was made extremely sick from the Pfizer vaccine and was hospitalized and made bed ridden for over 2 months. I myself took the J&J, along with my brother and mother, and thankfully had no side effects (preferred the vector viral through a human adenovirus transfer than mRNA). Uncle is currently seeing some success from some experimental trials. Currently, the returning lesions on his spinal cord are healing again, but they always come back. The Mayo Clinic wasn't doing much other than pain management.

The fact that I now know that you're clearly a sensible, pro vaccine person just makes me like you even more now tbh

@@RaptorJesus we should've seen it coming. I remember when anti-vax propaganda started spreading as early as 2008 in facebook through these stay at home moms. I'm honestly so tired.

At first I thought you were talking about UNESCO and I said to myself what the heck "why is UNESCO doing this?" and then I reread it and said "who the hell are we talking about?"
