@@moo8725 I know man, but where This is America had people viewing mainly for the video and Redbone appeals through the music, Feels Like Summer has a nice mix of both that goes underlooked when respectively compared to the two.

This was my song when I was starting out in college. Still listen to this song every now and then to try and feel that youth. The only issue is that it went from a comfort, easy feeling song, to a song of pure nostalgia. Seeing all the artists, present and late, makes me just feel older. All that aside, this song still brings me back to when I was 18-19, living on my own, and it gives me a sense of youth and temporary comfort. Back then it was so different, yet so easy. That’s the real world. A lot of artists that I grew up to have sadly passed. Love the song, been listening since the “Heartbeat” Camp album.

The memories this song brings bro. I was young and didn’t have anything to do all summer and felt free actually. My parents would go to work and the house was free to me and my siblings all day. We would binge watch Voltron and avatar for hours every single day. Then When we got tired of the tv we would make lemonade or ice cream sundaes and sit in our back yard just looking at the sun. While it wasn't the first time I heard the song, the first time I actually 'listened' to it was in a Walmart- oddly enough. I saved it to my phone, and when I got home, I listened to it and watched the video at the same time. I've listened to a lot of music in my time, and I have to admit, this song is amazingly well-made. In conjunction with the video, the words that come to mind... 'haunting, magical, refreshing, transforming.' I've always known that Glover was unique and artistic, but I have to hand it to him- this song is brilliant.

FilmThemesAndScenes You forget that Donald Glover is American and that most things he does with his music all seem to have a more significant meaning. So it’d make sense for him to post this during what Americans (himself included) consider to be the last weekend of summer. Especially since the video seems to take place during sunset, which could be meant to signify the sun setting on summer and also the end of summer

This is going to be one of those Childish Gambino songs that I come back and listen to years down the line.
