    I'll explain how a 65 year old grandmother from the Midwest can listen to this man's stories and love every minute >>> You and your kids didn't grow up in these neighborhoods. Being a kid and having to zig zag around dudes like this in order to stay out of trouble or get your head bashed in by a couple of them for no reason like i did, was not as glamorous as you might think. The fact that my brother and i didn't join my neighborhood gang made it to where they treated us like we didn't belong there. I'd challenge any of you to take your kids and move into one of these neighborhoods, and come back and tell me you love to hear what this man's got to say.

  • @cynthialawlor2420

    @cynthialawlor2420

    3 жыл бұрын

    @@IZRRL you’re right. I failed to recognize my ignorance regarding my statement. I can’t imagine what it must be like to live in a city that’s run by gangs. I grew up completely opposite to what this man is talking about. I shouldn’t see it as glamorous or romantic at any level. My shallow statements were not thought through. I’m sorry for that, but thank you for enlightening me. You presented another level for me to think about. I’ve learned a good lesson, so please accept my apology. The Soft White Underbelly is my first glimpse into this world. I honestly had no idea what life is like in these neighborhoods or on skid row. In fact, I wish Mark would interview people who grew up in and around, but yet escaped becoming a gang member, drug dealer or prostitute. I think people like you are the unsung heroes, if we were to evaluate the whole picture.

Maybe it'll save a life or two or 3...""" and that stuck with me. But I enjoyed the time you shared on this platform homie... much love braddah... #LastOfADyingBreed

I think a lot of people could learn from his past, somewhere out there is a kid who hasn't been locked up once and his family and friends might be pulling him in, he's gotta save them from that cycle. I know and have met alot of cool vato's but you are absolutely the most interesting and legit man i have come across. Love your honesty and way you speak and carry yourself. You exhibit the true gang respect that in the old days was there amongst all the gangs regardless of what race or gang they belonged to. Now punks are shooting up neighborhoods and don't even know why. They claim it's about respect. Most of them today would piss their pants if you approached them and put them in their place. Keep on being yourself. You are a true Mexican American gangster that is one of the last of a dying breed. Pun intended...
