I commented on a video saying basically at 90 days I was struggling and hundreds of people liked and commented and still check on me. I'm still sober almost 3 years later and I'm not saying it's solely because of the comments but knowing someone you don't even know cares about your life, game changer. So Johnny my man, I'm rooting for you and I'm sending you all the good vibes from Texas.

It’s almost like a deflection tactic. Like his drug habit isn’t so bad, bcuz he doesn’t have an abscess or maggots, or he’s not a “rainbow” back. His eyes have been closed majority of this interview… he has points. He’s right.. you CAN get abscesses and you can get holes in your body FROM DIRTY NEEDLES! He might just smoke the fetty, but if push comes to shove, and you’re in wd, and someone is shooting, you’ll do it too.

    I struggled on and off with drugs (heroin) most of my 20s. Then I was taking Suboxone most of my 30s. It wasn't until prison I realized that staying sober isn't the only goal. Being happy and being a better person and kind hearted is. There is no big reward or finish line and it's OKAY to struggle but I'd rather have realized that at age 40 then not at all. It's never too late to be better, for yourself and those around you, because your quality of life will go up sooo much, even when things suck. I promise.

    William Burroughs is coming to my mind a lot thinking about fentanyl. He was an heroin user, he made literature, he had trauma, fentanyl didn't exist in his time; but he had antropologic studies, and in someway he shed a light on an aspect of reality that is about us all as member of a society that aims to be a civil society, he described a human behaviour that was difficult to witness and interpret, but widespread in the masses. Some narrative about this topic is not easy but necessary, and even if, like Johnny's, it is not literature but kind of an "oral transmission" similar to a fable, it is valuable. Very valuable content and great teamwork from Johnny and Mark, here. Thankyou from Italy

    @@yuma420 💯 I also think the comparison is a bit off. Nevertheless, Johnny describes here a drug reality and a drug in a very plastic and rapper style that should really teach everyone the horror. The fact that people still consume this drug shows the power that drugs exert and what they can do in the brain independently of intelligence and supposed creativity. By the way, the prospect of having to treat the maggot-ridden wounds of a fentanyl addict described by Johnny is daunting.

  • @sciencenotstigma9534

    @sciencenotstigma9534

    Absolutely! There has been more awareness raised, in many cultures (including US subcultures) through the oral tradition than literature. Where literacy is low, we need this! I don’t just mean those who can’t read, but there are many who don’t read regularly. Thus comprehension, analysis, and retention skills may be lacking. I grew up in a neighborhood like this, and community speakers with experience with drugs, prison, gangs, etc. make a huge positive impact!

    Jonny is absolutely right about fentanyl not being better than heroin. As a 30 addict myself, I avoid fentanyl at all costs and go out of my way to get heroin. Fentanyl runs out quick, the sickness is sooo much worse, and fentanyl just knocks you out. It doesn’t have that touch of euphoria like heroin does. A metaphor I can give you is, heroin is like those good hot sauces that’s not overly strong so it’s still got flavor and makes the food better. Fentanyl is like those hot sauces that are just hot for no reason, it’s so damn hot that it’s got no flavor, just heat, and it ruins the whole meal. Idk, that’s just what I got to say about fentanyl today.

    @Wesley alan Thanks man, you too, enjoy your day brother. I only do fentanyl when I absolutely can’t find heroin, which luckily for me is pretty rare. The problem for a lot of these people is they can’t find heroin, everything is mostly fentanyl now. Jonny’s another one, a fentanyl addict who’d rather be doing heroin. The thing is a lot of these addicts want whatever they can get right now, without waiting or traveling. Me, I’d rather wait or travel if I have to.

    Why don’t you go get some help instead of looking for heroin and thinking that’s OK because you’re not doing fentanyl. That’s like saying I don’t eat junk food I eat fruit snacks. You’re still consuming opioids. Let me be one of those people to tell you that I myself beat a heroin addiction and I know that it’s possible and I have met so many people in rehab who use not being able to stop as an excuse some scared of the withdrawals blah blah blah no man you have to get some help. So many show addicts sympathy but thats not what I do I’m telling you straight go get some fucking help before you die from your own job

    As someone who had an acute kidney infection and blood sepsis, the comments about your back hurting and the position are so true. I didnt know what was wrong, figured that since those "stretches and positions" relieved the pain, it must be a muscle soreness. Wrong. I had maybe 24 hours left before I would have entered into kidney failure as I had had the infection in my kidneys for 3 days prior to ANY treatment. Probably had an unchecked UTI for a week or more at that point. Ladies and Gents, take care of your Sexual.reproduction organs because they arent taboo they are a part of you.

    ...and fentanyl is being dispersed indirectly as well. It gets sprayed on commer ial weed in some areas. Like flouride, the type of 'warfare' we are in can get very sneaky, and stripping our money in the process . I also had a kidney attack exactly like he describes n I'm not a drug user, but look up 'hysteresis', ....it's long been known the combo of drugs, electronics, works the body of unsuspecting people in a bad way

    @@bloodycrocs ..oh no, all I had were burning kidneys, and could not walk upright nor barely crawl ... I was on the verge of consulting a hospital, but as a lifelong 'self healer', I tend to use the means I know of first, unless something gets scary. I just laid there curled up, using (distilled) water, certain tea, lemon...and eliminating most foods ...and slept alot..took Epsom salt baths.... between long communes with the energy I know as Jesus, and God. I even wrote a long letter to my xhusband in case I were to leave this earthlol, and I otherwise prepared mentally 'just in case'.things were to get worse.. It was about 3-4 days before I could walk upright & without a stick.... I highly recommend investing in a counter top water distiller if u don't have pure well water. The toxic water systems are hard on kidneys I'd think.. I'm just not a fan of hospitals, tho I'd sure go to one if really scared or passed out...

    Another GREAT "Johnny" video. Truth is out there (from a person that has lived it). I especially liked / found very sobering, is the latter part of his video. The part about "population control" (paraphrasing here). Personally, I can visualize a very real scenario, that deals with this specific concept. Hope this man stays around a long time. His presentations are always super interesting to listen and consider. Thanks for yet another amazing presentation Mark. God bless.
