Today I woke up thinking if the song, I could only remember one line. How lucky was I when I visited the Distribution center to purchase a set of scriptures only to find the song playing. I had to download it very fast. It's a very inspiring song! As a child of light, I was meant to shine!

This is an amazing song!!! Each of us has a divine purpose, one that God has assigned to us. In this generation we are privileged to be a part of that great army to welcome the Savior when He returns. A banner was fashioned by our pioneer ancestors as a symbol of the restored Gospel. We are the ones privileged to hold that banner high as an ensign to the world of light and truth!!! Those pioneers are watching us. What a blessing to be born at this time!!! I hope each of us feels this way.

If I had a lighter I would wave it in the air, and then put it away and fall asleep on a tree and listen to this song. This is the first song that was so beautiful, I cried because I thought that I was too far out to be saved...thank you God for holding back my thoughts of suicide. Thank you...

God spoke through this song to me during the hardest trial of my life. It meant a lot to me then and still does. I want to sincerely thank you if you are the author of this song.

I love this song it always brings me to tears. It was my young women's girl camp song and holds a special place in my heart for all the miracles the Lord has done for with this song.

She is a sheep that is lost, but hopefully she will come back. Each of us must have our own testimony and deep knowledge of the gospel. We must also remember the warning in the Book of Mormon about resting the scriptures to our own destruction.

I'm not sure what you meant by your comment. Are you criticizing the Latter-day Saint religion? If so, that's too bad--I think there is a lot of wonderful things to celebrate about this religious tradition, as there are many wonderful things to celebrate about other religious traditions as well. I believe in recognizing the good things that everyone has to offer. :)

She just left to the group but not to god.. She just found the contradictions of two books.. the bible and the book of mormons... She still believe the gospel but not with words of the book of mormons anymore.. just in bible...

It's okay! You didn't offend me at all! I just wanted to let you know what I meant. :)

Then you have profoundly missed the point of this song. Yes God guides us, but He doesn't leave us alone unless we push Him away. That's the point of this song, that regardless of our trials, so long as we hold on to the Savior and our Heavenly Father then we won't be alone. He can offer us comfort, but He can't take our struggles for us. Those are our burden to not only bear, but to grow from, to be strengthened. Once you understand the nature of your burdens you can relinquish them.

I'm sorry that you've been treated by people, and Christians in a wrong way. Nobody should feel that way because it's just not true, what others might think of you. People can just mess up sometimes, but Jesus isn't like that. He won't condemn you. I don't know who you are or what you've done but we're all the same; Jesus thinks very highly of you and He loves you despite what others may think of you and He's willing to take you in His arms and help you! Lana, any Christian who disrespected you must live with the fact that they're disrespecting one of God's children. (from a Christian point of view, all people are children of God) If that fact doesn't bother them in the slightest, they can hardly call themselves Christian. Please remember that Christianity is about loving everyone and teaching and learning about love. If at any point you receive hate from a person that calls themselves Christian, keep in mind that that's their own personal problem, and not a problem that all Christians have.
