No clue why anyone would trip over KC having a "hard schedule" or a "target on their back." They've been living in that reality since 2019. It's everyone else that needs to get these TV segments about regular season schedules, difficult tests, and roster building, honestly.

The Chiefs didnt even have to beat the Ravens. Lamar choked because Kansas contained. The SB is where you gotta track your nuts. You only get so many shots at a ring. Now theyre trading away defensive pieces. This isnt the same defensive team that was so dominant in the playoffs last year. Now Lamar gotta show the repertoire just to get to the NOLA.

@@MadBeastTitan It's not black & white. Hurts had a great SB performance but Mahomes was quite efficient. Can't really say Mahomes 'outplayed' Hurts in that game though, but he came away with the only thing that mattered

If I was other teams, I would want to face the Chiefs early rather than later, and hope the better weather and healthy roster gives you a chance. Because as the season drags on, the Chiefs only get better.

As a fan... I appreciate Joy's comment about the potential wins now and how in the playoffs; the Chiefs will be on top. But as the fan, there is one thing missed. "How will the new players perform against these top AFC teams?" A Chiefs fan is really excited to see the new rookies and the players getting a win right out the gate. We don't have to wait for this match up later in the season and then do the 'yah buts' because of injuries. At least for the Ravens...it's the best of the Ravens against the best of the Chiefs. Yes, it's the first game...but when you start playing regular season football...all that stuff is supposed to be worked out in the pre-season. I can't wait to see our new team and how well they do. Go Chiefs!

We start badly… we will still be on top.. first Super Bowl.. we took everyone best and went 12-3 or 13-2… last 2 years was the retooling/rebuilding years.. think the defense will carry us first part of season then the offense will click.. 2 hardest teams right out the gate.. we done what 7 of first 9 were playoff teams.. we went 6-2 I think.. 😊

@@jeco5729 Here's the thing, I don't care if my ravens win this game or not. Win when it counts. If the ravens lose this game. That's a good thing in my opinion and here's why, If we loose week 1 against KC and play them again in playoffs, KC will be less prepared. See one of the reasons why KC is so good in the playoffs is because the teams they play, they already seem them in the regular season and Andy Reid is very good at adjusting next time they face there opponents unlike harbaugh who keep making the same mistakes against the same teams. So I say don't show there hand to much.
