In this video I explain how to make an easy, fast and light Chickpea Stew with Vegetables, to which we have added eggs to complete the recipe, this being totally optional and to everyone's taste. Despite the fact that these chickpeas do not have meat, they are very tasty, since we make a previous stir-fry so that it gains flavor. To make the recipe faster, we have crushed the ingredients for the stir-fry and we have also used the already cooked canned chickpeas. We have also used brick vegetable broth, although you can use any other homemade broth you have, including chicken. The cooking of this recipe takes just 45 minutes, so we can enjoy a good homemade chickpea stew with very little preparation time. In the video I show you some little tricks and curiosities such as using the liquid from the chickpea preserve, which, far from being harmful to health, contains more flavor and protein from the cooking of the chickpeas itself, which is done in its preparation and in the process itself. container. In addition, this liquid will provide texture to the broth and will make it more substantial due to the saponins that are generated during cooking (the typical foam that comes out when we rinse them).
And as with other stews, the chickpea stew gains in flavor the more it rests, although it must be served very hot, so it is ideal to do it from one day to the next.

CHICKPEA POTAGE WITH VEGETABLES (Ingredients for 4 people)
-400 Gr of Canned Cooked Chickpeas (Drained)
-500 Thousand or Grs of Vegetable Broth
-1 Spring Onion
-1 leek
-2 Ripe Tomatoes
-1 Garlic
-1 bay leaf
-1 Potato
-100 Grs of Green Beans
-1 or 2 carrots
-1 Tablespoon of Paprika (Optional)
-2 Eggs
-3 Tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-Pepper and salt to taste

Muy bueno el potaje , yo lo hago parecido , no suelo triturar las verduras y también le pongo espinacas y bacalao , bueno es el típico de semana santa , de cualquier manera está muy bueno y saludable , saludos

Hola @Ana Belen, pues verás, puedes hacerlos tu los garbanzos, solo que los tiempos y forma de hacerlos cambian por completo al indicado en ésta receta.
