Here I'm cooking one of my all-time favorites - Chicken Parmigiana Light - a version of the famous Chicken Parmigiana made with chicken thighs topped with tomato and mozzarella and nestled in a bed of fresh tomato sauce. The thighs tend to stay moister during cooking and the flavors of this version are lighter and brighter than the traditional one - perfect for a weeknight dinner. Buon Gusto!

I’m glad you mentioned the difference between Italian and Italian-American recipes. I visited Italy in 2022 and 2023, and they never heard of some dishes that we Americans think of as Italian. I enjoy both, but they are very different styles.

Why do you have to peel and seed the tomatoes? It adds a lot of work so I'm not doing it! But why, I say?

Whether or not you look her cooking, you got to admit that Lidia has a very peaceful way of speaking and she’s great to watch and listen to for relaxation purposes.

Cause in some places of world the skin of tomatoes hard and will be difficult to be digested that is why we peeling the tomato skin
Having the ads turned on HIGH is an instant no for me. I was excited to watch her here. I just see ads. It's a choice by the uploader. I watch many who do not have the ads on & there's no commercials in the middle over & over. There's too many here in the middle, even one minute in there was an ad. 🚷
