Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

A delicious stir-fry of tender chicken and crunchy vegetables, chicken chop suey is very easy to make at home. Its tasty, thick sauce works well for other stir-fries too.

Could you please do the recipe of Magic Bowl (Bol Renversé). The Chinese cooks invented this recipe in Mauritius. In a bowl, we place the poached egg, upside down in a bowl, we put the chop suey and a heap of cooked rice. We put a plate to cover the bowl, we overturn the plate together with the bowl. Then we remove the bowl and it is the magical instant.

@@redhousespice Thank you very much for replying to my message. You will absolutely love this recipe. The key to success is the sauce that should not be thick nor sticky. Many people add chicken and prawns in the chop suey. It is a dish that bring joy when you have guests at the house, each one uncovers ones plate to discover the magic instant. You can accompany it with chilli paste and a chilled soft drink such as Pepsi or 7 up or Coca Cola or Sprite. Bon appétit.

I'm a fairly well grounded cook who knows his way around the kitchen with a good eye for good food recipes and chefs 👨🏾‍🍳 I've struggled to find a good example of chop suey as many miss the mark due to misguided delusions of grandeur.. However, your recipe really is bang on the money.. This tasted very authentic and was so easy to follow void of yapping on wasting time and talking rubbish.. Your other recipes look really good too.. So I will be having a go at some of them in the near future too.. Thanks for sharing your talent 🙏🏽👍🏾X 🇬🇧

I think this is a Cantonese term to describe Chap Choy - mixed vegetables.

Before putting the chicken in, pour in a 1/4 cup of water, cover with lid and simmer until vegetables are soft (about 1/2 hour). Then add chicken & sauce. Otherwise it’s a salad with rock hard raw vegetables.

I thought chop suey was stir fried. That sounds like steamed veggies. Obviously make it how you want, but it's not my experience that stir fried veggies are rock hard...but yes, they may be firm.

If your veggies are rock hard it’s obviously from you
