This video is a recipe video of Chicken Choila (Chhwela or Chyola).
Choila or Chhwela or Choila (Nepalese: छ्वेला) is a typical Newari dish made from spicy grilled buffalo meat. Although the dish is traditionally made from water buffalo meat, mutton, chicken, duck, and mushrooms are also used today. Usually eaten with rice flakes (chiura), this dish is usually very hot, spicy and mouth watering.
It is considered an essential part of the diet at festivals in the Newar community, along with several other ingredients. It is also an important ingredient of Samay Baji.
