Chicken Bulgogi / Dak Bulgogi
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Chicken bulgogi is a twist version of traditional beef bulgogi. Soy sauce tends to make the chicken breast tender and juicy, and a harmony of garlic, ginger, and green onion upgrade the taste of the chicken breast.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ingredients
500g or 1.1 pound chicken breast
1 stalk green onion (green part)
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sliced green onion (root part)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon honey
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions.
1. Slice one stalk of green onion. Keep the green and white part separate, because we’ll be using these in different ways. Chop two cloves of garlic, and great about one teaspoon of ginger.
2. In a medium size bowl, combine minced garlic, ginger, honey, ground black pepper, and green part of the green onion. Mix.
3. Put the palm on the chicken breast and carefully slice it diagonally into one inch thick. Place the meat in the marinate and mix with the sauce. Set aside for 10 minutes.
4. Heat the pan over medium heat. Add vegetable oil and sliced root part of the green onion to the pan. Stir fry it for about a minute until fragrant, and then add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook.
5. Add sesame oil and turn off the heat. Transfer to the plate. Serve warm with cooked rice.

Yes, you may add gochujang to it but make sure it doesn't get too salty. Gochujang has some salt in it. Adjust the spicy level and saltiness to your taste. Good luck! : )

@@JiaChoiChef tyvm, yes exactly watch saltiness, love gochujang but found it's a waste adding to some recipes, maybe because I never adjusted for saltiness lol, again tyvm
I will make this soon! Yummy 😋
Chicken breast can be good if cooked perfectly. But thigh with skin would always be the best.

This cooking method never makes tough chicken breast. Chicken thigh sounds delicious too!
No Gochujang paste?
