"Guitar is Life" for some of us! .... I visited several Cebu/Mactan guitar manufacturers as I had heard so much about them.. nice looking, but I was underwhelmed with the quality. In the end I bought a Taylor GS in Makati and it was the best traveler guitar purchase I could have made. Yamaha sure makes some good classical guitars, glad you found a new 6 string friend👍

By the way, Mang Inasal is owned by Jollibee 😁 Pagod (Tagalog) - tired - Kapoy in Bisaya It's totally fine to ask a Filipina how old she is.. it's not offensive here in the Philippines. Toyo (soy sauce) + Calamnsi + spiced vinegar is called Sowsaowan! You can add garlic, onion, ginger, and some sugar to cut the acid. Also there is a guitar shop is Lapu Lapu that does nice work.

I wanna say something it refreshing to hear you speak to people. I seen many youtuber I feel they think they are better than the country they visit, I hate this I feel they have no personality and they come of bad for me. The way they speak in a tone that seems they are making fun of the people they are talk too. Thank you for not doing this you are a natural, never change.

you can always put nylon strings on a steel string guitar with a cutaway. That's how Flamenco players do it. You're not going to get the super-wide flat neck of a Classical guitar, but it's an option. I've done it before and it does work pretty well.

I've played music over 40yrs and I only had on classical guitar and it has an extra hole in it now like Willy Nelson's guitar. I own only Ibanez guitars. I have 4 and they're all at my son's house back in the states. He doesn't play. I also play bass and drums and doodle on the keys from time to time

You're very good with the guitar Jonathan. It would be awesome to hear you play "Matud Nila", an old Visayan folk song/love song. It would be great on classical guitar with its haunting melody. 🎶

It was even sung by Nat King Cole when he had a concert here i think in the 60s. I just heard it here on yt. Anyway, that's just my way of introducing you to some beautiful Filipino music. ᵔᴗᵔ

oo nice! Tell him I said happy birthday! I typically like staying a bit away from Alona beach since it's the tourist area. South Palms beach is the nicest in Pangalo! You don't need to stay at the resort to use the beach and the restaurant there. I also loved staying right on Loboc river.. very peaceful and much closer to the Chocolate hills and the tarsiers. If you've already reserved a hotel near alona beach you're still very close to that South Palms beach I mentioned, and Alona Beach area has all of the island tours and restaurants as well, so it's great for that! Hope to run into you too, and have a great trip!

we love mang inasal too because they have unli rice, and when we eat there we do it in filipino way, we dont use spoon and fork, we eat with our hands, you can wash your hand first or ask for gloves there,, try it.. its much better and more delicious

I wish I started the piano when I was young.. I can't play at all, but of course we use the concept of the piano to learn music theory, so I study it conceptually.

Guitar is in bisaya is gitara. In my dialect in Aklan. Same also Gitara.🙂🙂 But some of my own is different to pure Bisaya like in Davao also here in Siargao Island . Different dialect.🙂🙂

Guitars, Rondalias are manufactured in Cebu City. Cebu is known for it. They could probably costume made it for you.

Thank you for following along Carmina! Yes, I'm always able to do it with the metal spoon; it's just easier with the knife, so I was curious why spoons are used instead of knives. I think I just figured it out, though 😂. Locals typically eat rice with the meal, which requires a spoon, so maybe you just use that to cut the meat also? But I don't usually eat rice, so I don't need a spoon for that... so I just usually use a knife and a fork. Thanks for the response! I was just curious about that 😂

You should try Andouk's, 1/2 bbq chicken for 180 pesos, a really great deal and tasty
