Mark 9:42 and Matthew 18:6 are very clear about what Jesus says! Virtue signaling Christians will never learn because they go to a "denominational assembly" every Sunday and stick their heads in the sand the other 6 days. Denominational assemblies are not biblical. Denominational church preaches a false gospel that combines the gospel of the kingdom (Acts 2:38) with the gospel of the grace of God (I Corinthians 15:1-4).

There wasn't a Chick-fil-A in Las Vegas, NV, because the owner and Grandfather wouldn't have it. The moment their Grandfather died, they opened two stores in Las Vegas.

You are 100% correct. In Jan 2023, I retired from a state run medical school and we would get emails about this and meetings too that basically if you weren’t diverse,inclusive, or whatever, you would be talked to. We’d have to attend lecturers on this and do a yearly video meeting on this also. But what about the employees rights as Christians? There weren’t any.

In-N-Out Burger is open 7 days a week but is more Christian than Chic-fil-A and they even cite scriptures all over products in small quotes. Like underneath a paper soda cup is the scripture of John 3:16. Others have proverbs and Revelations.

Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family”. In the above two verses, Jesus called himself a prophet. There are also many verses indicating that during his lifetime on earth the people in Judea and Galilee regarded him as a prophet. Regarding the verses in which Jesus says that he is equal to God (mainly in the Gospel of John) most scholars believe that Jesus never said that. It was what people started saying about him after his death and put on his lips in the Gospels written at least 4 decades later

And the holy spirit was already on earth at that point, e.g. at the baptism. Also no holy ghost has guided us to all truth and new teachings that we couldn't bare then. There are many sects of xrianty who claim they have the Spirit, and none of these sects can agree with each other, let alone guide to a new truth. The final messenger did not speak of his own, but what he heard from Angel Gabriel, he glorfied Jesus, and told us Jesus will return towards the end times to kil the anti christ. There is a whole chapter in the Qur'an dedicated to Mary and she is called the greatest woman of ALL time. He has led us to all truth, he received the final revelation from God. So did Jesus' earliest followers consider him to be God? EHRMAN: Well, what I argue in the book is that during his lifetime, Jesus himself didn't call himself God and didn't consider himself God and that none of his disciples had any inkling at all that he was God. The way it works is that you do find Jesus calling himself God in the Gospel of John, our last Gospel. Jesus says things like: Before Abraham was, I am, and I and the father are one, and if you've seen me, you've see the father. These are all statements that you find only in the Gospel of John, and that's striking because we have earlier Gospels, and we have the writings of Paul, and in none of them is there any indication that Jesus said such things about him. I think it's completely implausible that Matthew, Mark and Luke would not mention that Jesus called himself God if that's what he was declaring about himself. That would be a rather important point to make. So this is not an unusual view among scholars. It's simply the view that the Gospel of John is providing a theological understand of Jesus that is not what was historically accurate. GROSS: Jesus was referred to as the king of the Jews. Did he call himself that, and what did that mean it is time? Do we know? Can we have any idea what that meant in its time? EHRMAN: Yeah, we do know, and actually to be a king of the Jews simply meant literally, being the king over Israel. It is a very difficult question to get to, what Jesus taught about himself because of the nature of our gospels, but one thing is relatively certain, that that the reason the Romans crucified Jesus was precisely because he was calling himself the king of Israel. Now, Jesus obviously was not the king. So what might he have meant by it? Well, what scholars have long thought is that Jesus was talking about not being put on the throne by means of some kind of political show of power, but that Jesus thought the world as he knew it was coming to an end and God was going to bring in a kingdom, a new kingdom in which there would be no more injustice or oppression or poverty or suffering of any kind. And in this kingdom, Jesus appears to have thought that he himself would be the future king. And so Jesus meant this not in the regular political sense but in a kind of apocalyptic sense, that at the end of the age, this is what was going to happen: he was going to be installed as king. GROSS: So Jesus saw himself as the messiah. What else did that mean in its time? EHRMAN: Well, a lot of Christians today have a wrong idea about what the messiah was supposed to be. The word messiah is a Hebrew word that literally means the anointed one. This was used in reference to the kings of Israel. The ancient kings of Israel, when they became king during the coronation ceremony, would have oil poured on their head as a sign of divine favor. And so the king of Israel was called God's anointed one, the messiah. There came a point at which there was no longer a king ruling Israel, and some Jewish thinkers began to maintain that there would be a future king of Israel, a future anointed one, and they called that one the messiah. And so the messiah for most Jews simply referred to the future king of Israel. And so when Jesus told his disciples that he himself was the messiah, he was saying that in the future, when God establishes the kingdom once more, I myself will be the king of that kingdom. And so it's not that the messiah was supposed to be God. The messiah was not supposed to be God. The messiah was a human being who would be the future king, and that's probably what Jesus taught his disciples that he was

The Gospel ends with the words, ‘Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.’ John 20:20-31 Richard Dawkins calls the Bible ‘a chaotically cobbled-together anthology of disjointed documents, composed, revised, translated, distorted and 'improved' by hundreds of anonymous authors, editors and copyists, unknown to us and mostly unknown to each other, spanning nine centuries’. Let’s take the Gospel of John, the fourth Gospel. Is there good evidence to believe that what we read in John’s Gospel is a true account of what Jesus actually said and did? Up until a few hundred years ago, no-one really questioned whether John’s Gospel was historical. But with growing scepticism over the reality of God and the supernatural (a philosophical and cultural movement known as the Enlightenment), scholars began to suggest other explanations for the origins of the Gospel. Against the traditional view of the Gospel having been written by a disciple of Jesus and eyewitness to his life, death and resurrection, they argued that the Gospel was, in reality, written by someone living hundreds of years later, and hundreds of miles away. And the concepts in John, they said, were too Greek, and not Jewish enough (as the other three Gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke, were). John’s idea that Jesus was ‘God in the flesh’, for example, was said to reflect much later developments in Christian theology. So for these reasons, by around 1900, most New Testament scholars believed that John’s Gospel could not be considered as reliable history.

Why Chick Fil A is trying to be all things to all people... Major religions have typically excluded women from leadership roles. So women created their own and called it "Social Justice". Their religion was born in women-dominated social sciences and gender (LGBT) studies departments in academia. The religion is a combination of feminist ideals and Marxism. Built into the religion is an assumed guilt of men. The foundation of the religion is that masculinity is flawed and men are not compassionate enough. Women push this religion in colleges and the women-dominated middle/lower school systems as teachers. Women push their agenda in politics. Here is the key point: Businesses, like Chick-Fil-A cater to the ideology because women control buying decisions. Social Justice is a religion created by and designed for women and LGBT. It will take women, who are not ideologically bound to social justice, to convince other women and LGBT to abandon it.

Actually RELIGION is the root of all evil. Every war, every conflict, every terrorist act, all stem from religion. Treating your fellow man like garbage while having a smile on your face and thinking your above everyone else cause "you go to church". Hypocrisy. Expecting to "pay your dues" to the church every week so they can rake in millions, while not "paying their share" themselves on that through tax exempt status. Going into these church parking lots and seeing 100k suvs, audis, mercedes, brand new Cadillacs, bmws ect. Those are "all american"? Thats not considered gluttony? Or theft? Give me a break.

Most of my older siblings worked at Chich-fil-a for their first job, and all I can say is that they would go to work every day (except Sunday) at 7:00 in the morning and wouldn't get back until 8:30 PM. They were under paid, overworked, and depressed from all the negative customers that the fast food industry has to offer. They call themselves a Christian company but most of their employers are just down right mean.

Never thought Chic fil a would do this!! I'm done supporting them

The problem manifested itself when Chick-Fil-A took a firm stand for traditional marriage here in the US. There was, of course, backlash from the reprobates, but they appeared to stand firm. Chick-Fil-A only appeared to do so. For as the company expanded into Canada, they lost their courage, and lo and behold - diversity! So, in the end, it appears that profit triumphed over principles, earthly mamon over the mana that fell from Heaven. May they repent and wholeheartedly cling to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen and amen!

I dropped Chick fil A a couple of years ago when they went all in on the BLM issue. Truett Cathy built an empire and his son Dan, is flushing down the drain.

It's sad to see them do this. I used to go to Chick a couple of times a month, but that's ended now. It simply amazes me how these billion dollar companies will allow a fraction of one percent of the country to dictate to them how to run their businesses.

I didn’t know anything was going on with chick fil a until I went to chick fil a a few days ago and no one was there. The chick fil a in my city has NEVER been empty in the 3-4 years that it’s been here (infact the drive thru traffic is usually so long that it flows out of their parking lot and into traffic) . I googled chick fil a to see if something was wrong because this was HIGHLY unusual.

I currently work at a Chick-fil-A (although not for much longer lol, I'm just looking for a new job before I leave) and can confirm the music thing. Sometimes we will play a Christian song but it's the instrumental version. It's kinda weird lol, because I'll just be waiting for the words to start and they never do and it sounds so incomplete

Yes Hobby Lobby has many Disney products in their stores now as well as rainbows, unicorns (gay mascot) and other secular items that represent non biblical standards. Although they still play Christian music in their stores they are now mixing it with secular music. Soon the Christian music will disappear. In our location, they have a lot of gays and transgender working. Seems so weird to see this in a Christian business. Incidentally HL fired the Christian store manager in favor of a woke manager. The employees state that HL is anything but a christian business by the way their top executives run the business.

What many Christians don't understand is that we are to have nothing to do with anyone that allies with those in darkness. We're to warn them of their ways, and if they don't turn from it, be repentant, then we are to walk away from them. Otherwise, Father will hold us responsible as if we are partnered with them in darkness. Ephesians 5:11, which is based off of Ezekiel 3:18-21.

Brings to mind the old saying of "actions speak louder than words..."

I had lost all of my enthusiasm for Chick Fil A. Every time I went to the restaurant, I felt inspired to make a purchase. I used to think a lot at the drive-through, "Wow, what they've accomplished! They've stuck to their values, and people know it and still love the restaurant." Now when I go, it's not the same. I no longer have that admiration and inspiration for them. Frequently, I even have already lost the cravings to eat there. I still go but it's not the same and decided to eat more in other places. I'm just disappointed in them as a company.

Most will now not eat their products, but now I'm moved to pray for my local workers who should have strong biblical training and work for Chik-fil-a, that they remain strong. Be the light and salt to whomever they work around.

I was planning on bringing CFA to my city but now I’m scrapping those plans. We must not allow corruption to take root no matter what and as Christian and hopeful entrepreneur and philanthropist, I will not bow to the things of this world. Let us resist sin.

I had been waiting for verifiable evidence that Chic-fil-A had gone woke...and this solidifies it for me. I have been eating at Chic-fil-A since the early 90's...and I wasn't a born again Christian at the time. Now, that I have heard what I've heard here, I will NO LONGER be eating at their establishment. I cannot support an organization that goes against my Christian values...and I thought that Chic-fil-A would be the LAST place of business to go woke. They have lost another life-long customer!
