I love how the sound mix lets your ears focus in on the bass and drums here, Chick always sounds great too of course but this is unique!

I LOVE MARCUS.... Marquini... is INCREDIBLE...

Handling the Chick Corea Trio bass chair like a man! So good Carlitos! Who needs to go to the gym when you can get a good left foot quarter note stomp count with a Roy Haynes-ish broken up ride cymbal adding to the mix. You are definitely owning the time and making us (Bass Players) proud, thank you and bless you brother! Technical question? is that just the DPA in the house/amp or a blend of the DPA mix and the realist?

Always interesting to WATCH MUSICIAN on the stage and look at their FEET !!! Who needs to keep time tapping???? Who can play w/o TAPPING HIS FEET ? Not making any conclusions here--- JUST INTERESTING TO SEE WHO TAPS. Carlitos is a great bass player---I thought he was a FLAMENCO DANCER as you can SEE AND HEAR both his feet tapping away !!
