ABOUT CHICAGO PD
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf comes "Chicago PD," a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city's most heinous offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond. Detective Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his intelligence team have always considered rules to be guidelines more than actual laws. Their goal has always been to protect their great city and they have used unique ways to help bring criminals to justice. Now it's a new day and age in Chicago. Police are under siege and under a microscope - everyone from the federal government to politicians and citizens in their own city are watching. The intelligence team will feel the pressure, and their form of justice will be questioned and challenged.

Most people forget that Al and Hank were partners when they were comin' up in the force together. They both been through more deep do-do together than the rest of the unit will probably see in their careers. Plus, Al's a military combat veteran.
That was an amazing shot by Olinsky. Great job by Ruzek! Al was proud of him, that’s for sure.

True, but a rifle with a scope is better, as a pistol would more likely have a chance to hit the hostage due to the shakiness, and the attacker moving his hostage as a shield.
