It's absolutely true if you look at the voting map in Illinois basically the only blue area is Chicago (Crook County). There needs to be an electoral college in states because it isn't fair that Chicago decides every election from the Presidential elections, Governors elections, and the Senators and House races. reality check: for the last half century or more, both parties have failed us nationally & on the state level. the donors to the red and the blue are served ahead of citizens, while the circumstances and the bill is on the working taxpayer. Trump did sign some good bills while in office, granted, but it takes more of a centrist than an extremist. what's missing is a centrist /middle voice that is outside of the two party money. Getting eligible non-voters back in the booth, and supporting, and demanding from any politician in between election campaigns & inauguration, is going to be essential. it's not just picking your favorite team, it's backing them up through their term as well. honestly: I can see 1) democrats disappointed with Biden and fearful of Kamala, and 2) Republicans finding Trump a bit too extreme to represent them, 3) long term inactive voters: being able to find more in agreement with the laid-out plans, and the "middle" views, plus: the deliberate intention to reclaim individual freedoms to the People of the USA while denying big money's controls in govt.. RFK Jr is being resisted by money & both parties.. Red & Blue get people triggered by "the other" and give an ambiguous 'wish list' and virtue signalling, while RFK Jr has: actual plans laid out step by step, bibligraphy and research to back up his stances & opinions, readily found on his page. what we have had for half a century hasnt' worked. it's time for 3rd party options.

Chicago has cars and stores in 1968! There are not illegals grabbing purses, stabbing people, and looting stores. I don't see anyone peeing on the streets. It was better back then, for sure.

In Chicago the mayor is a Democrat. The police Superintendent is appointed by city leadership. The DA is a Democrat.. The AG is a Democrat. 46 of 50 Aldermen are Democrats. Four are Independents. The issue in Chicago is not racial, it is cultural. They are also the fault of the Democratic Party. The most recent Republican mayor of Chicago served from 1927-1931. Please, let's not forget the approximately 2470 black Americans who have been murdered, in Chicago, since George Floyd was killed. 95% were killed by other black Americans.

George Floyd was NO saint. He also had an oversized heart and was on heavy drugs. Instead of helping and guiding the American Citizens, they invite millions of illegal criminals to join them. They should not be here at all. The current administration opened the boarders and welcomed them, so they should be in THOSE dictator's neighborhoods. Not forced on folks who are already struggling. Well I’m black and it’s not fair to move them into neighbourhoods that already pay for everything, whether that be white or black. If I’m already paying for half the city , it’s not fair to expect them to shoulder the blame for the bad voting practices of the ones who vote for constant free stuff.

i lived in chicago in mid ninetys, great memories at Arlington Park Racetrack. I was a flight dispatcher for Aeroflot and Air Ukraine. As a private pilot the loss of Miegs Field was a travesty for no good reason. Mayor Daley you should be ashamed.
