Kath is totally free-forming the ending vocals there - I believe this was Kath's main stab at anti-Vietnam epics.

At 8:52 of this BROACTION video, as Terry turns toward the band, you can hear his whistle. Distinctively. Terry’s whistle was the signal for “8 bars left”. I always listen for Terry’s signal, which (Jimmy and Walt said) was a pitch that they heard through the music. He was the leader. They were equal, Terry was humble.

Love Chicago. Been a fan since 1969 when their first album was released... you say you like great guitarists. Take the word of this old man who's been collecting music since 1955...If so you should check out some Joe Bonamassa. One of the best guitarists out there. Ranked the #1 Blues/Rock by Rolling Stone. He's sold more albums than any Blues artist in history. Yes I'm a fan. Check out "Mountain Time" live at The Royal Albert Hall kzread.info/dash/bejne/qp2B09iJibPcgZM.html ... or the more recent "Angel Of Mercy" Live at the Greek Theater. kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYl-1cttptitmrw.html ...
